AshC Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The lads who named themselves after a 'Fuck the Revival' hashtag, thus making their identity a mystery to anyone outside of the meta-indy bubble? Quote

Where's the "meta-indy" in this? EDIT: And, for what it's worth, the hashtag stood for "Free The Revival", in reference to them wanting to get out of their WWE contracts. I am sure more people know them as FTR now than remember anything The Revival did in WWE. And if the criticism is about what the name stands for, it really doesn't matter any more than whether you know what "Triple H" stood for after they stopped calling him Hunter Hearst Helmsley. It's dogshit. They're a good tag team, though. Quote

I don't want to get into an AEW/WWE face off but no. The Usos have been on WWE TV forever. The New Day have been on just as long. They must be the most well known tag teams at the moment. FTR were on the WWE main roster for about 10 minutes and The Bucks have never been in WWE. While the wrestling in AEW may be better the machine that is the WWE still creates a greater reach. Quote

Merzbow Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I think the Uso's are back together, right? Those singles pushes worked so well. The New Day will probably end up in AEW soon. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Stupid discussion when there's only one answer for most well known tag team. Quote

I've looked at some of those other forums this morning (Pro Wrestling Only and Freakin' Awesome) and they all seem to treat wrestling as this super-serious discipline that requires page upon page of circular arguments to discuss. This place enhances my love of wrestling; I think those other forums would kill it. Team UKFF 4 Lyf. If this was 2009 we'd absolutely 'invade' DVDVR right now, wouldn't we? I know what you mean. The worst are the Benoit apologisers. Fucking hell, they think the body of work of him pretend fighting in his underwear carried more weight than the double murder of his wife and son. The mind boggles. 🤣🤦 Quote
