Paid Members air_raid Posted May 7 Paid Members Posted May 7 OK, better answer. My then flatmate who was a Rugby League fan with only a passing interest in football once started a save on FM10/11. He played as Spurs presumably so I’d be interested in his progress. He bought just 2 players pre-season, Lukaku and this lad ; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dudu_(footballer%2C_born_1992) So with Lukaku, Dudu and pretty much the real squad, he then won the treble. Spurs. Treble. Dudu. Quote

"However, Fifa announced on Thursday that it had extended its agreement with Fanatics to cover collectibles, to include Fifa tournaments and events from 2031" UTTER. WOKE. NONSENSE. Quote

One for the CM97/98 nerds, after he became *the* go-to guy on the game’s first release, the devs dialled down his current ability in the later patches; however his potential remained the same. So if you’ve played the most commonly circulated version (2.93) - you’ve got the slightly inferior Bakayoko. Quote

Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted May 7 Awards Moderator Posted May 7 (edited) We’re through to a European final. Crystal Palace. A European final. Beyond our wildest dreams. Despite the shambles of the season we’ve had domestically and off the pitch, we’re there. If we win this, I’m no longer calling my kids Jimmy & Jackie, but instead Sarr & Wharton. I remember being one of those pillocks on the pitch crying with emotion when we drew with Sheffield Wednesday away on the last game of the 2009/10 Championship season, which didn’t just send them down and keep us up, but it made us just about viable to be bought rather than us go out of business. And now, here we are. What’s more, Nottingham Forest - the club of scabs and grasses - got knocked out of the competition they cost us a place in. Football was the winner tonight. Lovely stuff. Enjoy the next few weeks mate, nothing like the period between the semi and the final. Like dreamland. Quote

Incredible rise. Feels like a Football Manager save. Should be a great final. Interesting on last night's results, if Villa win the Europa League and finish 5th, then 6th place will get England's extra CL place. That's a tight battle between Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford at the moment with Chelsea, Fulham, Everton and Sunderland not far behind them. Interesting little end to the season in store. Assuming Villa do it. Quote

I bloody love that little bus stop in Hounslow. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted May 8 Paid Members Posted May 8 Feels a little odd that there are three English teams in all three Euro finals, and none are from the north-east. Really glad for Palace; hope they win. Anything I predict is automatically wrong, but I don't get the impression Arsenal will beat PSG. They seem too cautious, and PSG aren't gun-shy. Quote
