QPR were already on holiday today against Ipswich so Millwall had no chance to go up automatically despite winning. We have a woeful Championship playoff record. We've been in 4 times and never got to the final, so we'll done Hull I hope you go up.

I put the Boro match on 1-0 up and watched everything go wrong one thing after the other. When Ipswich went 2-0 up I just turned it off and went and did something else. As nice as it would be to see us go up again, some teams are just good Championship teams and there’s nothing wrong with that. Boro are one of those teams. I’ll honestly be happy as long as Millwall don’t go up.

I think I speak for everyone when I say fuck off QPR. Could have at least tried, pricks.

Bury FC are making good progress through the non leagues, after being expelled from the football league, 7 years ago. They finished 1st in the Northern Premier League Division One West Division this season. So will play in the Northern Premier League. If they get promoted from there, they will be in the National League North. The club is now owned by a supporters group who also owns Gigg Lane. They've been pulling in an average of 3500 fans for home games. Last game of the season, they got 8500 fans in the ground. To put that into context, my local team play 1 division higher in their equivalent league. And usually get 700 fans to watch.

Their manager is Anthony Johnson who was made infamous from the Class of 92 documentary, BBC put out when Salford City got taken over by the Man Utd legends. He's doing a good job and should be able to keep the promotions coming. With the benefit of a 12,500 seater stadium. (Bigger ground than Bournemouth FC!) They've got the leg up of increased attendance which would hopefully generate cash for better players.

Told my workmates for weeks I suspected we’d steal a point at Villa Park. Feel quite silly now.

Unfortunately we can’t play away every week and two out of the last three are at home, so we’ll probably still go down.

Me for 41 years of my life: FUCK OFF BACK TO WOOLWICH, NORTH LONDON IS OURS

Villa are such a frustrating team.  Only team in the top 7 English leagues to not score a goal going into late September. Been hovering around 3rd for most the season, but lost to Wolves who had only won 1 game. Get to the semis of the Europa league and lose to Forrest.  I’m glad Bacon got some vital points today, but christ Villa are baffling at times.

Congratulations @tiger_rick Although I've seen my arse with Sky Sports. Hull had just scored, and I was checking permutations on my phone as was most of the ground, and Sky Fucking Sports zoomed in on my grey headed beef tomato of a head with a commentator saying "Is anybody even watching this game?"

https://freeimage.host/i/BQKzyOb

THE BALL WAS OUT OF PLAY, HALF THE GROUND WERE CHECKING.

And the worst thing? My brother, who doesn't even like football, my own flesh and blood, fucking messaged me saying "I didn't know Brian Blessed had a season ticket".

We didn't go Back2Back2Back2Back this season, but what a season we've had at Wrexham. 27th best team in the English league, played Boro off the pitch, put  Coventry and Ipswich to the sword, proper beatings. Decent FA Cup run, robbed vs Chelsea. And in 162 years of being a club,  our highest ever league finish. 8 or 9 years ago pre takeover, I was posting here about being proud of 5,000 attendance on Boxing Day. by 2027, we will have a capacity of 17,500. Which will be filled. Granted, several will be yanks who will take a selfie in the first ten minutes then fuck off when we start singing about Lizzie dying on the floor/hate the Royal Family clap your hands/burning holiday homes down with their kids in them (as happened on Saturday). But fuck 'em. a ground needs to be hostile.

And who wants VAR and Half and half scarves anyway? The Championship is a proper league!

I’m beyond stressed today. Hearts/Rangers tonight, the day the bubble could burst for their title hopes. I honestly don’t know if I have it in me to watch the match, I’m just too nervous!

It seems that 99% of football fans have lost their heads over Villa resting 7 players last night because they're *has a rare look at the top of the table* well clear and in the European football places and 1 down in a European semi final with the second leg in 3 days. Brilliant. Never underestimate the thickness of football fans.

I mean, every club does it no? Frankies boys went out on the piss for 3 days and then made the same amount of changes against West Ham few weeks back and no one complained. Priorities innit? Would love to be able to rest players to be honest. What is rotation?

Still, undefeated since we announced the Peppa Pig merchandise range. Makes you think.

99% of the country think it would be funny as fuck if Spurs go down though, that’s the difference. We’re just raging that Villa have ruined our fun. And they’ve put Forest right back in it, the pricks.

Edit: and just as I type that, just seen our team for today. Fuck me, that’s a suicidal squad selection. We’ve done a Villa.

From Villas point of view it would have made sense to take yesterday's game seriously, I know we can all laugh at Spurs but they will be back towards the higher end of the Premier League soon enough and competing with Villa in the top 5/6, Villa could have put Spurs to bed and cemented a top 5/6 place for at least another season or two.

Emery will probably be getting all emotional like he usually does when Spurs come back next season and push Villa out of the european places.

That's obviously not Spurs fault though, you can only beat what's in front of you. I can't see West Ham getting more than 4 points now, Spurs will be safe by the skin of their teeth. Not sure if season 3 is better than season 2 though? (Ange).

And I don't dispute that, I've said all along that it is and would be very, very funny.

I've said before that one of the best things about football is that EVERY team thinks there is an agenda against them and other teams are favoured. I saw an Everton fan today wonder why De Zerbi didn't get booked for celebrating a goal on the pitch (fair enough) and is that just reserved for Everton?

Yes, the FA are solely targeting Everton and David Moyes, for reasons only they know. Mad cunts.

Nevermind. It appears we’ve hired a genius in Vítor Pereira.

Fair play to Forest but Chelsea are absolutely shit aren't they? Just a disorganised mess of a team.

Watch them turn into the 05 version of themselves when we rock up there in two weeks time though.

Forest making all those changes though, disgraceful! Something something CORRUPTION! INTEGRITY! @premierleague

Did I do it right?
