Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Have to say I thought after his previous jobs Lampard was struggling somewhat and surprised Coventry took him on when they did. Credit where it's due though, they've looked comfortable throughout the season and deserve to go up. Have to say though, like most teams going up, it's a whole different kettle of fish in the PL than the Championship. Sadly they won't be getting 12 points as a given as Wolves and Spurs will be down Quote

Plus Robins was still a massively loved manager at the time, too, probably the most loved manager for decades. I hope he does well at Stoke. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted April 18 Author Members Posted April 18 Go to 1:50 to see Exeter goalie Jack Bycroft score a 96th minute equaliser. That noise phwoooooaaaaaar. And that's the only football that needs to be discussed today thanks. Quote

Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted April 18 Awards Moderator Posted April 18 If it helps, @SuperBacon, the Palace squad - including the first team, the manager, the ballboys, that bloke who cleans the boots and the throw-in technician - have been on the ale since Thursday. West Ham won’t do us over on Monday. Nope, you’re sound. Quote

I'm resigned to it buddy, I've made my peace and watch every single Spurs match in a silent, zen like state and breathe in and out. Then I pray to my picture of David Ginola and chant. dramatisationmaynothavehappened Quote

I really enjoy watching Cherki, but apart from that they're so boring nowadays. Edit: Forgot to add, I think Haaland and Gabriel need to shag to get rid of all that tension. Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted April 19 Paid Members Posted April 19 I don't care which of them wins, but it would be funny to watch Arsenal lead all season and throw it away at the end. Quote

Not as funny as watching Ipswich get promoted over Millwall if it happens. Fingers crossed Hollywood FC go over in the play offs too for maximum shithousery. Quote

I do have to say though that it was not a penalty for the equaliser against Middlesborough today. It was so soft it was practically liquid. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted April 19 Author Members Posted April 19 Nah bollocks to all of that, Southampton deserve it the most*! Coventry and whoever gets promoted in second need to invite Will Still to their parade as Saints would be promoted already if Eckert had been in charge from the start. What a job he's done. Have tickets to the Saints Ipswich game week Tuesday, should be an absolute cracker. Come on my Solent brethren, you could be my only source of Premier League football next season... *And Millwall. To be honest Ipswich and Southampton stank up the place last time, Ipswich of course beat Spurs though. Quote
