Hearts somehow escaping with a 3-1 win over Motherwell after a game that looked set to give Rangers a boost in the title race, then Rangers going from 2-1 down against Falkirk today to winning 6-3. Celtic won too but in less dramatic circumstances. This is going to be a stressful end to the season. COME ON YOU JAMBOS!!!! Quote

I keep saying to my youngest the only positive is that we might get season tickets next season. Currently we're 87000 in the queue and I'm the sort of fucking idiot that because I've waited my whole life for one, I'd jump at the chance. Ultimately I feel for the kids the most. I'm 41, there are many more things in my life to worry about than bloody Spurs, and like I've always said, this is very, very funny for literally every other set of fans. I'd find it funny too and it's all nonsense at the end of the day. But every Monday she has to go into school and listen to all the bollocks I did when I was her age. Giving away points to sides like Livingston will fuck them in the end, I don’t think they’ll take more points than Rangers and Celtic from the final games. My guess is that they’ll end up playing some part in the title race, with their final game result against Celtic mattering when it comes to whether or not Rangers or Celtic win the league. I hope I’m wrong, though. Quote

They looked doomed and we could well be set up for a final day Survival Sunday at this rate. God I hope we get one. Newcastle's season is over, mind, as we limp toward the finish line. Only things to play for now are a top-half finish/finishing above Sunderland, both of which don't seem likely at the minute. Need a serious squad clearout in the summer, I think. I'm just ready for the season to be over so I can get properly excited for the World Cup. On an unrelated note, I played against a once-capped former Czech international yesterday. 47-year-old Jan Simak was playing CM for the opposition, who won 4-0. Not sure if anyone would necessarily remember Simak, who was a bit of a journeyman, but he played for Hannover, Leverkusen and Sparta Prague, amongst other teams. The man still has a decent first touch, I can tell you that much. Quote
