Balor back in Japan would be ace. Especially with NJPW needing bigger stars with retirements and contract endings. Less talking, more just wrestling. Would work well.

If Balor ever gets cut or fancies a change, a New Japan run could be interesting, considering he's a founding BC member.

Ehhhhhh. I was Fergals biggest fan from when he was going for the Jr titles right through to him leaving, and he had big matches with their top guys when they had the most vibrant main event scene on the planet - except for AJ, who he crossed over with but subsequently wrestled in WWE. Not convinced there’s anything interesting there for him in 25.

Feels like only yesterday everyone was talking about how the tide had turned and WWE was now where people wanted to work to make sure they could be happy and love wrestling. All of a sudden, there's toxicity around every corner.

But...but...Vince is gone! Yeah everyone else who worked with him, was close with him, learnt from him, enabled him and still love him is still there but it's a totally different company now!

It'd be interesting to know how it all works in terms of the releases. Is it the guys above HHH? Does he get a say at all? Who gets a say on the NXT ones?

All the news sites have been reporting g over the weekend he has the final say and pretty much to the effect of if he wants to keep them on the roster they stay on the roster.

Enjoying people fantasy booking Balor back to Japan - but back down to earth with a bump when I watch the next Raw :(

So? She was still featured on their biggest show.

The way you wrote it I was under the impression you were unaware why she was on Raw. I was simply explaining the logic / reason behind it.

Chill.

There definitely was a time when he was spoken about as one of, if not the, the best wrestler in the world.

Yeh I have never watched any of his NJPW stuff, but I remember at the time hearing his name constantly being mentioned as the best in the world, and I didn’t have a clue who he was

It just have been people who weren't watching NJPW saying it because while good there he was never seen as a top guy. Probably just Bullet Club hype, I feel like they were weirdly over with people who didn't watch them but still bought the shirts.

Is this Finn Balor getting retrospectively added to the 'Good In Japan' Hall of Fame?

I think it'd be well deserved.

Then only people I've ever known who really like Finn Balor are men of around his age who wished they looked like him and could wear those style leather jackets he wears without looking like a plum.

“Top guy” wasn’t the question. When Devitt was chasing/winning the Jr Heavy title and routinely having bangers with both New Japan regulars and outsiders like Marufuji every time the Best of the Super Juniors rolled round, he was very often having the match of the night on the big shows and getting talked up as in the conversation for the top five alive by those watching all the indies and Puro on top of hate-watching WWE and TNA. For several years, especially when Tanahashi and Nakamura had to make do with the fading stars, the not-ready-yet or the never-will-be, before Okada was strapped in. And long before Devitt turned heel and formed the Bullet Club.

Retrospectively? Some on here have been banging that drum for years.
