I think he mostly dropped that in favour of a more traditional chokeslam by the time he was having his most well known WWF run as champion in 96 but he used to do it a lot in his first WCW and WWF stints. Looked cool as fuck.

Looked cool as fuck. His chokeslam was even BETTER when he'd land it on one knee and then do his 'come on' hand movements. Just a cool as fuck sequence from Sidney.
davertfnewman Posted January 19, 2025 Posted January 19, 2025 Seemed like a lot of chokeslams used to be run into it and jump jobs, but then 911 and the Giant would do the pick up and walk around deals, meaning the hand at the bottom of the back, which most other guys took on.
