Could watch these two all day…

Just one of many combinations during that peak WCW Cruiserweight era of 95-98 that really clicked. Obviously Rey vs Psychosis, Rey vs Malenko, Rey vs Eddie get most of the love from that time but stuff like Eddie vs Dragon, Eddie vs Psychosis, Dragon vs Malenko etc were being thrown out there on a weekly basis and smashing it out of the park every time for me back then. Then they’d occasionally bring in an Liger or Ohtani. Incredible cast of amazing wrestlers.

Get him into the performance centre, he took that on his back almost as hard as Darby did on Dynamite

Nah, I'm sure he'd still like his ACL's.

You’ll have to expand it to read the whole thing, but I unashamedly love this. Even if it’s similar to Cody, where I suspect being a good egg is sort of a work in and of itself. I don’t care. Either way, it’s ridiculously refreshing. Nice people just being nice.

Extra funny that it’s the best wrestler in the world posting stuff like this, when so many shitarses are on the sidelines, sulking, posting passive aggressive, snarky bullshit.

I knew Will was a good in-ring wrestler, but I expected him to be a disaster in promos and for the PR of AEW. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The Will Ospreay I first met in 2011 was nothing like this. Proper cocky and two big for his boots. He told me he’d hoped to be working in New Japan or TNA, ideally both. And when he joined the London School of Lucha Libre, he got treated like everyone else, even though he had better skills and was really impressive, and it humbled him.

And while he’s done some stupid things, it’s very clear he’s grown up and taken responsibility and accountability. And I’m delighted at the person he’s become.

I’ve not seen him for years, and he probably doesn’t even remember me, but I have mutual friends who still do and I feel confident to say it’s not an act, and I’m delighted for him.

I wouldn't pretend to know him at all well, but I have spent time around Will recently, for the first time since we were on the same show right before the pandemic.

Between being stuck away from.his family during the pandemic, and now having a great partner and her kid in his life, he definitely seems to have grown up and matured a lot in a few short years, and does seem to genuinely want to spend his time uplifting other people in wrestling rather than it all being about him.

Still managed to crowbar in the "without you we'd all have starved to death" stuff, which, as a party line, rings a little hollow coming from Will Osprey

If you have to starve to death before realising there are other streams of revenue than wrestling then it’s probably more an evolutionary thing than a Tony Khan thing./Tory.

Cracking up at this. He is never out of them Adidas trackies, is he? Don’t think I’ve seen him in anything else over the last 15 years. Even when he’s out for Christmas with the Mrs.
