Comedian Rob Beckett took his WWF Hasbros on 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown.

I remember once seeing him tell a joke about all the different famous people he resembles and one of the names he mentioned was Jack Swagger.

I cannot believe no one has mentioned the ultimate celebrity wrestling fan yet.

To paraphrase WWE: Now, Then, Now, Then, Forever (a nonce)

Genuinely not a joke: this doesn't narrow anything down. Trying hard to think whom you're referring to.

No doubt I’m being whooshed here, but “Now then, now then” was a catchphrase of Jimmy Savile.

Ah! I missed the second "then" - thanks.

You’d never guess based on his appearance!

Forgot about Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett from The Chase. He used to have a quiz segment leading into breaks on Wrestle Talk and I think he appeared on the show as well. I think he was involved with NGW up north. I also seen him a couple of times at York Hall watching Rev Pro.

He definitely appeared at PCW, a colossus at ringside relatively speaking, actually dwarfing whoever it was he was managing. While I understand celebrity involvement in big time wrestling to a point, I’ve always found it mystifying why indies stump up the fee for D listers off the telly. Literally nobody who’s going to buy a ticket for that type of wrestling show is going to be moved to do so because of someone off TV as opposed to, you know, the wrestling matches. But still, The Beast… definitely the most noticeable ringside presence since they had Michelle Thorne gripping a ring post while The Steiner Brothers began their 24 hours as World Tag Team Champions Of Preston… which ended when of Team Single pinned one of Fight Club. Barely a celebrity but that prick Billi from Big Brother 8, I remember he had a britwres match way back and is now one of the scummier wrestling journalists around.

Prick.

He was also a scummy character in Britporn as well. And to stand out as scummy in that field is no mean feat given the company you keep.

He only did one thing for Television X. They were going to do more but Television X thought they were going to get Big Brother girls doing some stuff because the twins and Amy Alexander popped in for an appearance but they didn't so they fucked him off. He's a fucking twat.
