Paid Members LaGoosh Posted September 19, 2023 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2023 This whole bit is packed to the brim with amazing jokes but two absolute gems I have to pick out: "Ariaga...Ariaga 2!" "This match will determine once and for all who is the greatest nation on Earth - Mexico or Portugal!" Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted September 19, 2023 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) "It's hard to believe this used to be an internment camp". Some absolute gold in there still in series 9 I think? Edited September 19, 2023 by gmoney Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted September 19, 2023 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2023 I would say Season 10 is probably the last one with multiple episodes I enjoyed and remember quite well. After that it's a bit of a blur for a few seasons until they're all pretty rubbish and forgettable. Kind of sad to see Season 10 was still in the 90s. That's a really bad ratio. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted September 20, 2023 Paid Members Posted September 20, 2023 Season 11 seems to be the transitional season where the episode stories become incredibly stupid and bad but the jokes themselves are still pretty good. It's then officially shite from season 12 onwards. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted November 1, 2023 Paid Members Posted November 1, 2023 I'm sure plenty of you also watched some old Halloween specials this season like I did. Anyway, from King Homer, here's a delightful sight gag I never spotted before, courtesy of the pause button ; Quote
CharlesTuckerTheThird Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Not sure if anyone has posted this already, but SuperEyepatchWolf made a few brilliant videos on The Simpsons, my personal favourite linked here . Between this and Bortposting on Reddit/Facebook, the fan made content has been far funnier than the actual show has been for a long time. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted September 29, 2025 Author Members Posted September 29, 2025 I fear the worst to be honest. The first film holds a special place in my heart. First cinema trip for my nephew with me, and me and the kids watched it loads when they were younger. Quote

WyattSheepMask Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 The gap between the beginning of the show to the first movie is smaller than the gap between the first movie and this new movie will be once it’s released. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 I’ll still go see it but I hope they go all out insanity on it, maybe even have it be a retirement movie for 1/2 of the voice actors, namely Dan (Homer) or Julie (Marge) who’s work is getting obviously aged per season Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted September 30, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 30, 2025 Maybe they do the big blow off entirely? 2027 will be the 40th anniversary of the characters first appearing on the Ullman Show, maybe they've decided it's actually time. Quote

I think they're renewed past the release date of the movie? Might be wrong but I think they'd have at least one more season after it. Quote
Browser Brady Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Funny bit of trivia ( and i may have mentioned this before on here) but in 1995 me and a few of my friends made a couple of grand betting on Maggie Simpson shooting Mr Burns. Quote
