Nothing major to write home about on this week’s show - maybe hints that they’re going to continue working on a reset of the tag division - but it’s worth checking out Kyle Fletcher vs Komander. Could have been the standard Collision semi-squash but ended up being probably the best match Komander’s had in AEW. Really got me hooked in.

I agree with the match. But I thought it was a strong episode. Fun opener with Rosa and Cameron, teasing a split of the Acclaimed. More progression with Mox/Deathriders/OC and I thought the main event was really good. Though promoting Mina coming back before the match meant the ending was never in doubt.

Thought it was a really fun episode let down by a bang average main event. Honestly 'bang average' is the best way to describe May's reign.

Seems to be stuck in limbo without Storm around. Hopefully Mina is actually coming back for a while and not just another one off before vanishing into the ether.

The Private Party celebration was a nice change of pace, though I immediately found myself hoping for AEW to have tag team rumble for a title shot. There's plenty of teams for one.

Rosa/Cameron was bags of fun even with the weak props. Sure not amazing but got the crowd going.

Probably the most I've ever enjoyed The Kingdom and Strong. Was Taylor genuinely rocked for the finish? Or did the ref blow the count?

Some solid continuation of the Mox/OC feud.

As already mentioned, Fletcher Vs. Komander was a belter. Maybe I'm going mental in my old age but I'm getting serious Randy Orton vibes from Fletcher.

Adding Johnny TV to MXM's act could be an inspired move. TV is at his best in those kind of situations, imo.

Still has yet to top that time he punted a mobile phone into a bin, though.

TRASH.

The tag titles being back amongst the tag team division makes it all the more frustrating that the first tag team casino gauntlet was won by two singles guys. Really really hated that decision.

I think "now I gotta split" is my favourite John Television moment:.

I thought this was one of the stronger Collisions in a while, a really fun episode.

Fletcher vs Komander was a belting little match. Komander is one of the more underrated guys in AEW for me, he came in roughly the same time as a bunch of other luchadors like Vikingo and probably had the least fanfare but has impressed the most out of all that bunch.

Orange Cassidys understated yet firm promo style is another reason I love that man. Suits his character perfectly, he doesn't need to do the rah-rah babyface stuff because that isn't who he is. The Wheeler Yuta stuff is working for me too, him finally standing up to Moxley could be a big moment if done right.

I know most think Action Andretti is shit but I just think he's miscast in Top Flight, he'll make a fine mid-card cocky heel whose mouth constantly gets him into trouble.

I agree. He has a very punchable face which is perfect for wrestling and that water bottle thing he does is perfect heel shtick. I'm optimistic about an Andretti heel run.

Good episode, this week. Really enjoying how they’re playing all the main storylines across both shows. Starting to feel like I can’t skip anything anymore. Except Rampage, obviously.

Any other week, I’d be banging on about Fletcher vs. Komander as the highlight of the show. A ridiculously surprising belter.

But this wasn’t a normal week. Something trumped it. MXM and Johnny TV had legitimately one of the best segments of the year. I’ve watched it about ten times.

This was fucking brilliant. I loved everything about it. MXM’s facials throughout. Them calling him, “Mister Television.” The fourth wall-breaking grin when they said, “giving…and receiving!” And then everyone doing the most brilliant exits out of screen. Keeping the mics up so you could hear the crowd laughing was just the icing on the cake.

This is it. Distilled pro-wrestling daftness. As good as it gets. My face was hurting for how big my smile was.

MXM are one of the best signings in company history.

Fuck off

Det. Jericho “Action” Jackson,a nickname, that’s fine. Andretti uses it as a Christian name, therefore a bellend. If anyone’s to blame it’s his parents

MxM a highlight again this week.

Collision felt less like a show in its own bubble this week, a half-decent number of people on this episode had also been on Dynamite this week. Definitely helps.

Also nice to see that Julia Hart is on the way back soon.

Preferred the previous two weeks of Collision, but still a decent effort this week.

I love MxM. Bloody love them.

Julia Hart finally returning, a fun HoB squash and an Outrunners win.

Consider me well fed.
