The Outrunners getting a Title Shot on pay per view is what this business is all about. Can’t wait to finally see it on a Coliseum Home Video VHS around March or April next year.

For all the times I've complained that AEW don't capitalise on popularity or momentum, it's been such a blast to see how organically the story of the Outrunners has unfolded. Definitely one of the highlights of this year.

I know there's the MVP element but I like that the main thrust of the Acclaimed tension seems to be that Bowens is finding Caster fucking annoying. I think most people can relate to that feeling where you're stuck with a friend you've had for years but now they just piss you off.

A couple of weeks behind on collision. Did anyone notice how good that komander move was where he ran across the top rope? I've heard wrestlers say how hard it is to walk across the top rope he walked across one whole one.

I think maybe he could be pushed a more now. Before I thought of him as someone who was great on the independent scene but not that interesting on tv but I didn't realise how young he was. He's only 25 and I think he could have a good future in aew.

Kyle fletcher is doing well as well. He wasn't someone I was interested in before but he has become a good heel. He doesn't mind selling as well. At first I thought it was going to be more of a squash match but it turned into a great match. Fletcher seems to be building up credibility without squashing opponents so yeah he's doing well I think

AEW have booked Hammerstein Ballroom for an upcoming Collision which is exactly the type of venue I want Collision to be at. I'm very excited about it!

Also a Collision will be at some geek convention called GalaxyCon which again is exactly the type of unique venue and wacky vibe I want for thus show.

More of this please!

I think a caster heel turn seems inevitable. I think it could work well though. The other week when the acclaimed were talking and bowens was getting fed up of him something seemed right about it to me.

What do you think of archer and cage? They seem to have something about them together. Neither of them have ever seemed like main event material to me but they seen to work well as a tag team.

I think they could be a good addition to the tag team roster. I love ftr but they can't be the main guys with the Bucks all the time so some new tag teams need to be given a chance. The outrunners are amazing I love them so much. I really hope they win their first titles at forbidden door. I think they will get a great reception in the UK

Indicative of AEW as a whole right now. I wanted to love this more than I actually do. It’s a great idea. I’m happy they did it. I just don’t care about any of it, bar Orange and Mox.

Doing a tribute to something that happened in another promotion 28 years ago using a song that's 33 years old feels kind of weird to me. If AEW want to attract new fans they probably should try and do stuff that's new, original and unique to them.

Yeah I won't shit on the idea itself as I recently enjoyed the ECW/NXT stuff so I think there's definitely room for nostalgia. But yeah it just feels like one of those things Tony has done because he has money. Fair enough.

It was perfectly fine that November Rain video. I think if it dropped unexpectedly rather than they announced it I don't think people would have commented or cared as much and liked it more (not that it being liked massively matters).

I'm looking forward to catching the show. Moxley is absolutely going to win, but that's how wrestling is now a bit. We all complain about predicability (Darby possibly winning the title so what's the point in the Cassidy match, Mariah May retaining till Toni is back so what's the point), but then more title changes mean people go 'well it has less impact now because so and so won it briefly'. I can't figure out a way you keep surprising your audience to stop that mentality, I'm assuming other promotions deal with it. But then I think I'm just thinking about your basic online fan here like us and not the normal people who just like the wrestling. Just rambling, nevermind.

The final stop-off on on my Week of Watching Wrestling (I'm just as relieved as you are) and this might only be the second full episode of Collision I ever watched.

Started with Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron. I think I've only ever seen Mina in one match, and Harley in none. This was pretty good! They seemed to have quite good chemistry and the end sequence was superb. Wasn't a fan of Harley walking off at the end and not selling anything but I'll let her off. She's great.

Jack Perry turned up in his transit van. Salford Van Hire will be charging him extra for painting SCAPEGOAT all over it. I hate him.

Daniel Garcia vs Johnny TV! This was good except it made MXM and Johnny TV look stupid that they got beat three on one, but I like Garcia a lot. Also, Perry finally did something I liked because he got Daddy Magic off commentary from doing his Jerry Lawler impression. "I didn't do anything, I just look good!" the line of the night!

I quite enjoyed the fight backstage but I'm not sure how babyface-ish it is to tie a guy to the front of his GTA: San Andreas burglary van and drive him through the streets. But I'll let them off because it's Jack Perry.

I don't know who the daft cunt in Komander's corner is but I hope I never see him again. Never seen Komander before but he made Shelton Benjamin look like Tiny Lister. Not sure Shelton has ever been presented better than he has in the first few weeks of his AEW tenure. Whoever is behind that deserves a pay rise. Let's face it, it's definitely not Khan. MVP is a superb manager. Really enjoyed watching Shelton chucking Komander around and the latter sold everything really well, fair play to him. The rope walk dive was really good, and I'd watch this guy again and he's not normally my kind of thing. The end stretch from Shelton was brutal. Good match!

Can Kris Statlander wear that all the time? Bowens is good on the mic. Are they splitting the Acclaimed up? Good. Bowens is too good to be lumbered with Max Caster.

They found Powerhouse Hobbs! Who the fuck are Iron Savages? Was he called Buff Bronson? Absolutely embarrassing and I feel bad for the parents tbh. One of them is more yellow than Adam Cole. At least this was over fast.

Are the Undisputeds supposed to be babyfaces? Because Roderick Strong sounds like the least convincing one ever. Is that backstage interviewer (Lexi?) the same one who used to interview Dalton Castle on ROH? She's great.

Somebody explain to me why the barely reanimated corpse of Jake Roberts is accompanying a pair of Mexicans to the ring? What the fuck is going on here?! I've seen Rush a couple of times though and he was pretty good. I've never liked The Acclaimed and it's probably mostly to do with Max Caster, whose raps continue to be absolutely shit. I hope he doesn't join the Hurt Syndicate, god that would be awful. Bowens has just got it though. The crowd love him, all his stuff looks good and tons of charisma. Pretty good match.

I don't really know how to describe that Mark Briscoe promo and by the same but different token, the FTR one. I like their matches but I don't think I have to ever hear them near a microphone again.

Saw Mariah May vs Anna Jay described on Twitter as a 'Face Card clash'. This was just a standard garbage crap match that didn't have an ounce of the intensity of the Willow Nightingale / Kris Statlander one. Mariah's title reign has been another one booked like absolute shit. Shite, this.

I thought it was over and that I could get through this without having to endure Jon Moxley thinking he's in a fucking John Dahl movie but no.

It didn't end well but overall I quite enjoyed that. I've had enough wrestling though, I don't know how you lot do this every week, you're nutters.

That's Alex Abrahantas. He was originally for a very short lived time Penta's heel manager and was pretty decent in the role but quickly became the Lucha Bros "hype man". Then he, for reasons unexplained, became the hype man for every masked babyface luchadore in AEW. Literally everyone hates him.

Aghast at the disdain for Mark Briscoe promos but could not agree more on The Iron Savages. Enjoyed the reviews this week @Devon Malcolm :)

Also re: Hobbs, they have been very stop/start with him, but on this particular occasion his very long absence was for good reason. He ruptured his patella tendon in April and had to have surgery/lots of rehab.
