FTR were mid interview when the camera turned to this going on. Mox threatens to pour the cleaning fluid down his throat for about 2 minutes before FTR (who were at best 20 feet away) stop them. It was fucking awful and I forgot it even happened until you reminded me. Quote

Well, what it is, is when wrestling and real world logic clash and make no sense and nobody seems to wise up that you can only be so violent in wrestling without it breaking it's own and the real world reality, it's why a steel chair is acceptable, but a gun or knife it's complete bobbins. The last time I saw this sort of thing done in wrestling was when Homicide did it to Colt Cabana in ROH back in, what, 2004? It's probably Khan replaying something he liked on an old DVD again. Quote

There was an audible groan from the crowd during the in ring promo from Moxley when he said he was going to break Cassidy's skull. The crowd know you can't back that threat up and they then don't take anything you say seriously. The crowd knew they couldn't really poison Cassidy back there, no matter how much Motorboat Marina pulls her serious face. Then on top of that no one is calling for FTR to be involved in this angle, the only way that this could have gone worse is if Jericho were to hove in to view. Quote

She's all up for getting in their face, but no babyface is going to actually hit or do a move on her because fans/people just don't tolerate that shit so... The Homicide/Cabana angle was great and worked really well because a) it was the indies in the 2000s so something scuzzy like that was way more believable, b) the Homicide/Cabana story was great and the audience were invested unlike this one and c) Cabana puked his guts out afterwards. This type of angle in a clean, safe modern wrestling environment just doesn't work. It's better suited to Puerto Rico in the 80s. Quote

It hasn't occurred to him that the babyfaces need a woman on their side to fight MM. She's just there to look moody, kick dumbass babyfaces who think that they can jump in the ring against 4 heels and carry the briefcase. If it's going to be a battle of the briefcase they could bring in Ted from Gone Fishing to fight her for it but she has to have someone to fight, other than just motorboating Jay White into unconsciousness. Willow is makes perfect sense really but alas she is nowhere to be found. Quote

OC/Mox segment started well enough but as pointed out got really stupid. Good old Big Bill, the ultimate comeback, hits a personal rock bottom, climbs his way back up through hard work, gets signed to a big company, gets over with everyone including us (the truly important ones) and now has himself a lovely wife. I'm absolutely delighted for him, just seems a really good bloke who has deserved absolutely everything in the last couple of years. Quote
