Moving Punk to Smackdown has potential.

Smackdown is a fucking wasteland right now so could definitely use someone like Punk, it increases the likelihood of them finally pulling the trigger on Punk vs. Cody and most important of all it keeps Punk and Seth separated. The primary goal of all WWE booking going forward should be that CM Punk and Seth Rollins never ever interact again for the rest of their respective careers.

Would be funny if he moves over to Smackdown and starts feuding with Drew, Gunther or Finn. Groundhog Punk.

Would be funny if he ends to being the payoff to Danhausen’s experiments. Danhausen’s brings CM Punk back to life, now in Super Serum form.

Already dreading the Worked Shoot angle he’ll inevitably shoot with The Miz. Going from wrestling Jey Uso to wrestling The Miz. It’s enough make you reconsider going back to AEW and working with Nick Jackson after all.

We all know the truth though; man’s running scared of Dirty Dom. Couldn’t take the Latino Heat, so got out of the kitchen.

Probably that and likely him and AJ didn’t have a proper grieving period for Larry due to their schedules

Wouldn’t surprise me if they bring him back for the July 6th Raw with it being in Chicago

Not sure Punk would be ok with that although Kane did let them bring his dead girlfriend back so anything is possible.

I've seen a clip of him is doing the rounds where he says he wouldn't go to the White House if invited much like he wouldn't go to David Dukes house, because 'a racist is a racist'. Which is a cracking stance to be applauded, until you remember the Saudi Arabia Humiliation Tour.

For context, that clip is from his UFC run so a good while ago. Not saying it makes it any better, mind, but his mindset/his employment options may have been a tiny bit different by the sounds of it back then.

Ah fair enough! The article I saw misleadingly framed it as him saying it in response to the UFC White House event.

They're not necessarily contradictory. You can want wrestlers to be paid a higher percentage of a performance based salary.

They are when you consider the source.

What does performance matter now? They're not being paid based on house show gates and PPV buys because there aren't any. The income is guaranteed, it's massive and it's not going anywhere. And the talent are desperate to work. The only thing stopping them (in both companies) is injuries, for which they should be paid anyway because it's a high risk profession, and the choices of the booker. And TKO still choose to spend about 13% of their massive income on talent. You'd applaud a top guy like Punk coming out and saying this stuff if it wasn't just his latest Starbucks gift card.

Turns out he's not always a grumpy so and so. Also from the number of different romantic partners featured in this video, perhaps it really did stand for Chick Magnet.

I don't know, I didn't suggest it?

“I have come here to chew bubble gum and take your daughter to prom... and I'm all out of bubble gum.”

(He does have some Starbucks gift vouchers in his back pocket).
