Vicky got taken into hospital by ambulance about a month ago because she suddenly just lost all the strength in her legs. I waited at hers while I sorted the dogs out and for a friend to come and look after them until her mum could pick them up, then I umped in an Uber up there and went to find her. I walked into what used to be A&E, and was queuing to ask where she was at the reception desk. Just as I was about to step forward and say to the receptionist "My girlfriend was brought up here about an hour ago, do you have any idea where she is?" I spotted from the corner of my eye a sign saying "Welcome to the Paediatric A&E dept". I breathed a huge sigh of relief at the police interview I'd just avoided and eventually found Vicky on a trolley in a corridor. Edited August 8 by Jazzy G Quote

I'm in the top 5% of Lou Bega listeners! I can't recall listening to Mambo in the last fifteen years let alone 50 bloody times! That's messed up my algorithms hasn't it! I watched a performance of that song from Norwegian TV the other day. It was like he'd turned up on Jazz Club. Nice. Some great guitar and piano solos. Quote

Which, considering my overdraft is considerably more than £400 and I'm constantly on the arse end of it, is a bit like giving me a walking stick then chopping both my legs off. The past few weeks, I have been desperately trying to limit my consumption of social media to just here. People are just getting worse. I try not to break the Golden Rule ("NEVER read the comments"), but somehow they drag me in and I find myself grinding my teeth constantly. Quote
