Casemiro is one of the oddest looking/shaped players I've ever seen.

I dunno, Gnonto for Leeds has that minecraft Steve/Shaqiri look down too.

Great win against Leeds today. We're staying up.

Delighted with the result obviously but Cooper won’t be happy with that performance surely? Thought we were awful.

I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves.

Seeing as Liverpool, the people's choice and everyone's 2nd favourite team, are doing badly then of course we're not enjoying ourselves. This is a travesty!

Nunez will come good, I'm sure of it. He's 90% there. Sadly the remaining 10% is putting away chances but he's doing the hard bit.

Pundits talking about how much they miss Mane. Sure, but not as much as they make out. Diaz hit the ground running and losing him to injury has been a huge setback. Plus it doesn't help them that Jota, who has also been brilliant for them, seems to be made of glass.

The midfield needs addressing. Henderson is not as influential as he was, they effectively replaced Wijnaldum with a player that can't run as much (and less suited to this system) and Fabinho can't seem to manage a full season.

But as well as this, have they perhaps reached a roadblock with their Gegenpressing style? It doesn't seem to be the most sustainable style of playing, at Dortmund it ended with a really bad season (that Klopp managed to somehow salvage when a relegation battle looked likely). It seems to take a toll mentally and physically on players. Their press has been much less aggressive this season, I don't think it's a coincidence their form has gone. Teams used to shit themselves playing them, they don't anymore.

It wasn't that bad, but Wood was an absolute lump. Boly was MOTM for me.

Southampton manager Nathan Jones looks likely to be gone by tomorrow.

A run of 7 Premier League games which has produced 6 losses and 1 victory against what was an absolutely horrific Everton performance has seen mounting pressure.

A series of conflicting interviews and press conferences where Jones has sought praise for any hint of success and indemnity for any failings has not exactly endeared him to fans.

After our cup exit to Newcastle mid week and criticism for his insistence to play 5 at the back he defended it saying systems dont matter its the players fault if they're not good enough to work it out.

Minutes later Che Adams gave a post match interview saying the team struggle with the 5 at the back system.

On Friday he had our two Croatian internationals play for the B team a day before a massive PL game.

After our convincing 3-0 loss to Brentford (which could have been 6-0 easily) yesterday, he responded by labelling himself "one of the best in europe", blamed his failings on having listened to what others (alluding to that being fans and players) wanted him to do and done it rather than doing this his own way, (please remember this the man who said systems/tactics dont matter).

He then criticised fans who were singing 19 year old Romeo Lavia's name, publicly criticising his performance, saying fans must have been watching a different game to him if they thought he was good, throwing him under the bus and continued to then essentially say Southampton have been shite for a year its nothing new.

Several pundits with no tie's to Southampton have publicly criticised Jones for his comments yesterday, including Ian Wright during Match Of The Day and local BBC sports writer Adam Blackmore tweeted a 7 or 8 part rather scathing analysis of Jones this afternoon.

There's strong rumours doing the rounds that he was involved in a training ground bust up today (shock) and there's a board meeting tomorrow morning.

He wont be missed.

I reckon you should bring Poch back.

BRING BACK DOWNVOTES.

He probably would to be honest. If you read his book, he loved Southampton and didnt really want to leave.

@Jonny Vegas When I was at the Blackpool game, Jones was so animated for 90 minutes that I thought he was going to punch someone.

So aggressive even when someone did something well. Aribo at one point played a lovely pass after getting out of a jam and Jones went absolutely mental. For a good bit of play?

Big weirdo energy from him.

Dock them 20 points so that who ever wins the league has a dirty, great asterisk next to their name forever, so it means fuck all.

Just a thought.

A thought I'm sure you'd still be advocating regardless who was top of the league. For the good of the game. Definitely.

Although a City points deduction would pretty much guarantee Spurs a CL place, wouldnt it?

In fairness, joking aside, I'd happily take a victory lap title win with a massive asterix. Would not bother me at all.

Always got time for you, Monsieur Lardon, but I would laugh my fucking arse off if Spurs won it on that basis.
