Just watching the end of The Firm. Tom Cruise throws his keys and they're perfectly caught.

No bouncing off the palm and a muttered "fucks sakes" under his breath as he bent over to get them.

People ordering coffee in a coffee shop, whilst having a continuous conversation AND with the coffee being ready for them by the time they get to the end of the counter.

"I'll take it!", whilst viewing a house or apartment. This is usually said when gazing out of the window, or turning to face real estate agent following said gaze.

Not pressing someone when something is wrong. "What's wrong" "Oh it's nothing". "OK. So anyway blah blah" and onto the next scripted dialogue.

Having a phone number that begins with 555.

I mean.. We did that with our current place during the first viewing. Except it was "we'd like to put an offer in right now and find out of it's accepted and then wait several tedious yet anxious months to see if it all goes through".

Mums cooking a massive fuck-off full breakfast complete with pancakes and bacon and the works just for the daughter to run in, say 'I'm running late for school!' and just grab a piece of toast.

Nobody would turn down one of those breakfasts.

This was specifically created for TV and films wasnt it?

It was indeed.

Also, in American movies nobody is in a restaurant for long and somebody inevitably leaves before they actually have a meal. Monsters.
