I think it’s got far more to do with the amount of coke that she and Chris used to do, if anything the slide started there. Shawn alluding to something that never happened with Bret was probably water off a ducks back considering how often they’d played up to her being promiscuous on TV, which she barely deflected and played up to on commentary including flirting with Lawler and thirsting after various wrestlers. If anything hurt her personally it’s far more likely to have been Hunters remark at the 1997 Slammys which would have gone over the heads of fans but resonated with all of their peers in the dressing room, which mattered more than on screen persona. But yeah, it’s drugs not shagging that messed Tammy up. Quote

But given the "terroristic threats" charge, this arrest sounds like it's got far more to do with her being a deeply unpleasant, white supremacist and racist than any of that. Quote

dopper Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 She was a guest on Francine's podcast last Summer, not long after being released from jail, and it was very clear that she was still blaming everybody else for her issues and taking responsibility for none of it. I remember her saying the DUI came about because she bought herself a convertible and just had to try it out (despite having no license). Her parole officer was an arsehole because when she turned up late for EVERY meeting he would keep reporting her for it. She bragged about all of the prison staff asking her for autographs and begging her to date them. When this story came out last night a lot of people on Twitter were saying "I hope she can get the help she needs" and it reminded me that people have been saying that about her for almost a quarter of a century. That time Paul E. got her to talk about her constant drug & alcohol issues on ECW TV was 23 years ago! Quote

Whether this was caused by the drugs or the drugs were done because of them is something we will never know. She seemed to really get herself together when she went into the HOF. Quote
