Oh good I hope he does go to WWE on a spite run. They can do 20 minute back and forths and breaking kayfabe saying their second uncles real names or something while I don't watch.

You've reminded me of that godawful face to face they had where Punk kept trying to "shoot" and Triple H was getting increasingly bored and frustrated throughout. I can still remember Triple H murdering Punk with his final line "oh enough of this boring crap already, this Sunday Paul Leveque is going to kick Phil Brook's skinny fat ass!" and getting a massive pop. Punk looked like such a little idiot with his edgelord shooty nonsense and Triple H no-sold absolutely all of it. The Summer of Punk was an incredible disaster on all fronts, but it was fun to watch - mad, stupid bollocks every week on Raw all the while Mark Henry was on one of the best runs ever on Smackdown, good times.

If Colt is back. Good, his ability to just chill through all that nonsense was rather endearing. Good for him.

Colt didn't go anywhere. He was signed to a new contract with ROH months ago and mainly for all the stuff he does behind the scenes. He even went to Germany to promote the AEW video game.

Pretty much. Towards the end of the summer they'd been holding back some of their ROH signings. Then Brian Cage & Co pop back up since the weekly show ain't happening anyime soon. The Punk/Elite drama has probably kept Colt out of it. Otherwise he would have been stuck working Dark on occasion.

Bringing him back in the ROH Open Challenge was a good fit going by the reaction instead of an otherwise unknown ROH alumni. But I don't expect we'll be seeing him anymore than before on AEW TV. Don't really need to see two supposed vets tumbling like a sack of spuds to the outside.

You know it was a very meh show when the highlight was Jericho pulling that face when wearing Riccobini's glasses

Were you not a fan of the Acclaimed segment? Even on a stronger episode, that would have stolen the show for me.

I cannot believe I am still watching Jeff Jarrett on national TV breaking guitars and calling people slapnuts in the year 2022.

Mike Graham must be spinning in his grave.

I flat out don’t understand this Jeff Jarrett stuff. I know he’s popular on here, and admittedly he’s one of my least favourites ever so I’m probably not going to enjoy it anyway, but why is he waging war on AEW? There’s no solitary part of that segment I understood whatsoever.

The reveal of the chap under the Sting mask was funny though.

Total Nonstop Faction

Nice.

Glad to see Cabana back but something doesn’t sit right with the way he was binned off and then brought back though he got a nice reaction and will hopefully pad out a thinning Dark Order.

Darby crashing into Satnam and Satnam not moving was a thing of beauty. No stumble, nothing. Best thing Satnam has done so far.
