Denmark tomorrow then and failing that, here's hoping the Azzurri give the crumpet eaters a painful, deflating trip back to Earth. Forza!

It's this sort of flatulent banter that almost makes me want England to win.

You’re  as witty as an episode of Take the High Road.

The winning penalty was a shocker for the keeper. What was he doing? Any ideas on when the last penalty shootout occurred where the opening penalties were both missed?

I think it might have been Switzerland Vs Ukraine in the knockout stage of the 2006 World Cup?

I'd imagine Denmark will want to set up wide to try and deal with those crosses from the wing. It'll be an interesting match as Denmark have proven themselves to be adaptable when they identify a threat through the tournament.

Of course with it being on ITV they'll present it as a speedbump on England's inexorable march to taking their rightful place as the greatest footballing nation in the history of the world.

But worst of all, Sam Matterface will be commentating.

At least it's not Robbie Savage.

If nothing else Denmark getting to the final, even winning the tournament, after their best player died for a bit during their first group game is quite the story, should it happen. Proper stereotypical sports movie come to life stuff. What a mad tournament this has been.

Wow, such entitlement.

Regarding English entitlement, read Those Feet by David Winner. He said until England get over their Victorian fear of masturbation, their post empire declinism, and their divine right to rule, they won’t win shit. When Capello took over, Slaven Bilic said if he slaps the Englishness out of them, they’ll do great things.
I believe this group don’t have that English mindset, they don’t automatically think they’re better because they’re English. To be honest, the young generation give me hope that we won’t be such a horrible bigoted country in the future.

EDIT - Still hope they lose, like.

I can send you a link to the TV2 stream if you'd like to watch the Danish coverage?
