Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted November 4, 2021 Paid Members Posted November 4, 2021 I met Lionel Blair when he recorded an episode of Ready Steady Cook. He must have been about 80 then. Really nice, sharp as a tack.
Members SuperBacon Posted November 7, 2021 Members Posted November 7, 2021 One of the other Dads that I'm friendly with just replied to me when I told him: "That's awful...I double dropped with him once, lovely guy" which is a great tribute isn't it?
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted November 8, 2021 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2021 Judy Bagwell died. Buff Daddy's Mommy. Once shaved his bollocks when his neck was bad and he couldnt reach. A wonderful mother and former WCW tag team champion. RIP Queen.

Paid Members gmoney Posted November 9, 2021 Paid Members Posted November 9, 2021 That's a fucker. Who doesn't love his turn in Blue Velvet?
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted November 9, 2021 Paid Members Posted November 9, 2021 He'd not been well for a while. He'd had a couple of strokes a few years back and lost a chunk of his memory. Quantum Leap is a great show, and I was making my way back through it. It is a shame. If you aks my gran she'll tell you 85 is no age.

Absolutely loved his part in Quantum Leap, very sad news. Great proofing in that article. Quote Stockwell’s career spanned 70 decades I mean I knew he's been around a while but... Joking aside he has been acting legitimately since the 40s: I looked him up only this weekend. Mrs Onyx is a huge Quantum Leap fan and will be devastated. I understand in the past few years he's been quite poorly with Alzheimer's. Always a high point when you see one of his cameos - good fun in the 1984 Dune for example. Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted November 9, 2021 Paid Members Posted November 9, 2021 Yeah, Mumzie always used to mention that. He was a child actor. So he was in the acting game for a long time before the genius that was "Quantum Leap" came along.
patiirc Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Sad about Dean Stockwell, had a fascinating life dropping out of entertainment to join a hippy commune and accomplished artist too https://taos.org/dean-stockwell/ amongst other things. Absolutely glorious as a bad guy or unhinged character, great in Married to the Mob, and delicious as Brother Cavil in the Battlestar Reboot aside from the roles mentioned. Turns up in all sorts of stuff and was always a pleasure to watch.

Keith Houchen Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I’m sure Thunderplex is en route to a porn cinema to commit a sexually lewd act in his honour. Not that Gezza ever did that, oh no.
