I was one of those boring bastards who would hunt every collectable, read game guides back to front and spend hundreds of hours getting every achievement. On the three times a year I load up the Playstation now, it's a minor miracle if I make it to the end credits of a game and there's no chance I'm doing anymore than that, no matter how much I like the game. The Spyro and Crash PS1 games not only both had over 100% completions but aren’t even consistent in their own series. Crash 1 and 2 have 100%, but Crash 3 has 105% Spyro is worse with 1 having 120%, 2 having 100% and 3 having a baffling 117% There’s a Spyro Speedrun category for doing all three games for 337% Quote

It's been up for a few days and I've had 12 people messaging me asking about the specs and where I am based. More annoying than that though are people have made an offer, agreed a price, said they are going to come to pick it up, then ghost after the time they said they'd arrive passes, or respond afterwards to say they don't actually want it anymore. Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted August 5 Paid Members Posted August 5 (edited) Was having a lovely sleep and then had a nightmare last night where Aled Jones off The Snowman and Songs of Praise kept talking to me through a TV and fluffing his lines on autocue and the other guests were getting irritated and shouting at me before climbing through the TV. Guests included Sooty the puppet, this kid musical genius that keeps popping up in a YouTube ad for some channel 4 show involving a piano and the lead singer of The 1975. I need to stop eating cheese before sleeping. Coincidentally does anyone else struggle when they sleep too long that they start having more nightmares than normal? It's almost as if my body is telling me that's enough sleep but if I've nodded off early it means I'm up at 4am and can't go back knowing I'll end up in some messed up Saw scenario within minutes. The second part is a nightmare on Facebook. We put some stuff up for free a few years ago, just trying to be nice, and that made it even worse. FB needs to take a payment up front so people are committed. Also to stop the scammers. I got my daughter an iPhone a year or so ago and the poor lass we picked it up from was so relieved to be rid of it to a real person after all the messages she'd had and requests to post it, send bank details, etc. Marketplace is a useful tool but needs a payment system. The first part might be because they make the description something you have to go find. It shouldn't be hard, the title, description, price and location are the most important bits of infor you want to see. Everything else, you can dick about finding. Quote

wordsfromlee Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Music publications BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, Revolver, and Goldmine have been gutted by parent company Veeps, and nearly all staff at each publication appear to have been laid off yesterday. I was a big fan of BrooklynVegan and it introduced me to loads of great new records over the years so that news has really bummed me out. What makes it even more annoying is that Veeps is part of LiveNation who are well known cunts. Not only that, but the founders of Veeps are Joel and Benji Madden from Good Charlotte who are absolute dog shit. Quote
