The Reverend Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Apologies if I'm not remembering this right - but after he turned face in early 1990 did they start referring to the Big Bossman as a Policeman rather than a prison guard as he originally was. I seem to recall the feud with the Mountie was all about to different law enforcement officers. Quote

I genuinely don't think they ever went with he's an actual cop. You hardly heard prison guard either once the face turn came about. He was referred to the 'former corrections officer' which sounds more cop like and was still skirting around calling him a real cop. No idea if it was one person always raving about it or if there was a thread about those matches, but for some reason my memory just pulled out that when yiu mentioned Clive Myers. Quote

simonworden Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Was the progression in the UK down to fan preference or size-based factors like the fact the UK is the size of a US state so you will be working in front of the same wonky grannies several times a year? More emphasis on keeping it fresh. The fact that the UK scene was full of smaller guys too must have meant they wanted to do more fancy footwork than some big American bloke. Quote
