So there were "only" about 23,000 who paid proper prices. A grand tradition there of “whatever it takes to make stadia look decent.” See also, Rumble 97. Quote
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted November 26, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 26, 2024 (edited) Random one that popped into my head recently. In 2002, why did WWE go gung ho on unifying all of the mid-card titles (Intercontinental, European, Hardcore) just to re-introduce mid-card titles (including the Intercontinental Championship again) months later? I don't remember if it was planned that way, but didn't it all end with HHH ending them during his reign of terror to legitimise his newly handed to him World Heavyweight title? Quote

I think that was the case with the Intercontinental, but the Euro and Hardcore belts had been folded into the IC earlier that summer. I think Triple H might have still been champion when they brought the IC title back! Quote

I may be off with the timeline but was it not to ensure that the unified champions could go between Raw and Smackdown and by reducing the number of titles ensured that there were more wrestlers who could be brand exclusive I always thought 2001/2002 WWF/E was such a crazy place all round, with all the competition going, the name change, brand split, Austin walking out and Vince ploughing a fair bit into the XWF etc. Quote
CDM Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 So what are they doing with the ppvs when wwe goes to netflix in the UK? Are they an extra or do you get them with standard subscription? Quote

Merzbow Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 He's shit, I don't know how but he's regressed as a wrestler. Quote

I clotheslined my mate on the football pitch at school. I told a teacher to suck it. And I regularly recited the New Age Outlaws intro while I was on door duty during breaks. If anything I'm overqualified. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 28, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 28, 2024 Yeah by that logic you also wouldn’t be qualified to say a wrestler is good either. That leaves this forum with basically only the pooing threads. Quote
