Heenan was kind of de facto babyface for it, so I think it was designed to give him a bit of a send-off as he retired from managing and moved full-time into commentary - this being wrestling, Vince talked him back into managing to work with Flair anyway. They did an angle where Fuji threw salt at Heenan while Bobby was on commentary, he got up and got in Fuji's face, and that led to the match at MSG. I think that's all there was behind it. Quote

Any length (the shorter the better probably) but I would love to find some great examples of big old chunky fellas Vs smaller dudes. Never has a chonk looked more dynamic in slamming and squashing a JTTS. That he didn't do that uranage in every match (instead of just the belly-to-belly) is a crying shame. Quote

They had one at Hardcore Heaven that year but think they had a couple more as well, including the one where Bam Bam gorilla press launches him into the crowd and Spike ends up bodysurfing through the ECW fans, which sounds more unpleasant than getting chucked around by Bam Bam to me. This question makes me think, did we ever get a Yokozuna vs 123 Kid singles match on a Raw or Superstars or even Coliseum Video? The one with Triple H on Raw in 2000 has got to be up there. I’d have said the Sasuke match as well but that was in Canada not the US. I’d throw in the 6 man tag from Barely Legal as well. Hernan Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 I have two questions: #1: I have seen Frontier Wrestling Alliance and X Wrestling Alliance used to hold shows in a place called "Sports Nottingham" (as the name states) in Nottingham. Does that place exists or is it gone? I tried looking on Google if there was an address of that place to locate it on Google maps and see if that place's name is correct but I can't find anything. #2: Any clue of what's the name of the masked person that acted as the blind date guest host for XWA's last show in September 2018?
