I've probably gone on and on about it on here already but Vampire Survivors is sensational. I have never done any hard drugs in my life but there is simply no way they are as fun or as addictive as Vampire Survivors.

Very much enjoyed the Star Wars DLC on Power Wash Simulator 2. 

Also really looking forward to the Halloween game that's due out in a few weeks. It's made by the same companies that made Friday the 13th before it descended into legal issues and finally closed the servers - that's the game that got me back into gaming after over a decade. Absolutely loved the balance and style of it, and it looks like they've just gone with some updates to that to make the Halloween game. It really looks so similar, and I'm not seeing that as a bad thing.

Simracing rig will be set up tomorrow and I'll probably be spending tomorrow night cursing my XBox as I struggle to get the hang of it on Assetto Corsa.

So I finally got around to giving The Witcher 3, another go. 

Got about 15 hours in and now it's revealed that a remaster is coming next month. 

I swear the universe is mocking me, lol. 

Free upgrade, which is awesome.

The GTA VI extended look is on Netflix.

I mean it's obviously a fucking phenomenal development of a game. Just the sheer scale and different types of modes etc.

Not quite feeling the vibe yet but I think I need to get my hands on it and get to know the characters more. I'll enjoy playing far more than infinite cut scenes.

Been a fucking long time coming but yeah I'm ready to lose my life to it come November.

Glad I’ve avoided all the leaks and watched this blind this evening, 2 main characters seemed likeable and the missions seem more cinematic then the usual, can’t wait.

Metal Gear Solid 4 seems to be a surprisingly good port, playing the PC version but I've seen it even running well on the original Switch. Finally after nearly two decades it can run properly on anything other than a PS3 (still great on that, but not everyone has one now).

After a load of mentions in here I picked up Vampire Survivors. Holy shit! I think I played for around 10 hours straight yesterday, only stopping when my Wife said I'd not eaten anything all day.

Great fun, serotonin by the bucket load and just straight up addictive. 

Fuck a GTA 6.

If you've not played the Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo, you absolutely should. It's absolutely brilliant, and I can't wait for it to release tomorrow. September was already a stacked month for games with the stuff I knew I wanted, Capcom have inconvenienced me slightly by releasing yet another game of the year contender when so many others are on the horizon.

Picked up the Mad Max game for a couple of quid in an XBox sale. It's not bad, especially for a couple of quid. The hand to hand combat is like somebody say the Arkham games and said "we can kind of do that" so it's simple, but functional. The driving is decent. The story seems interesting enough. There's a dog as well. Not playable and you can't interact with it. I love how they've done enough to make you realise Max is Max without them using Mel Gibson or Tom Hardy. I'm also expecting a ridiculous set piece at some point.

The gameplay is extremely repetitive and simple, but I absolutely adored it, I played it to death about five or six years ago. The melee and car combat are both really satisfying. The world is incredibly bare bones but that works for the Mad Max world. It's such an underrated game and nearly always available for just a couple of quid on the Xbox store.

I'd say I got a good 10 to 12 hours out of Mad Max but yeah, that repetition hit me like a brick wall after a while and just didn't go back. Worth it for what I paid though.
