Grecian Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 On this day 10 years ago Sheamus was enjoying his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign. CM Punk was about do his 'Sermon in the ring' during the Rumble. Quote
The King Of Swing Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I was 12 going on 13 when Ric Flair won the greatest Royal Rumble of all time. Quote
TheCrisis Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) Summerslam 92 was almost 28 years ago, where the 10 year old me went to his first wrestling event. That seems unfathomable. Every decade that has gone by since I've said to myself "can't believe that was 10 years ago" etc, and now we're nearly 30 years ago. My dad would have been 42 at the time and you always think your parents are ancient, and now I'm nearly at that age! Madness. Edited January 21, 2020 by TheCrisis Quote
Guest Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Someone should start a thread about that one. Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted January 21, 2020 Author Paid Members Posted January 21, 2020 Duplicole mentioned on Raw that Rey Mysterio won the 2006 Royal Rumble. Another sobering one. That was ten years from when Rey debuted in WCW which felt like a lifetime. Now 14 years ago and can barely recall anything he's done in that time. Quote

Undefeated Steak Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 As much time has passed since the launch of the WWE Network and now as the time that separated Wrestlemania 12 (Bret-Shawn Ironman) and John Cena debuting on Smackdown. Quote
Paid Members garynysmon Posted January 27, 2020 Paid Members Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) What an arse backwards 'fact' if there ever was one. If it had started in 1901, fair enough. Edited January 27, 2020 by garynysmon Quote
Guest Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Ric Flair and the Texas Tornado have been competing in the same Royal Rumble in four different decades. Quote

The Dart Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Lawler didn't do the Rumble match last night. Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted January 27, 2020 Paid Members Posted January 27, 2020 he did the Women's Rumble. And given that the wording of the Tweet is a Royal Rumble, then he must have done. Quote

Not that arse backwards, he called the last Rumble of the 90’s, the latter half of the 2000’s, all of the 2010’s and the first of this decade last night Quote
