Chico Torres Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Correct I don’t count NXT. A pretty shameful record so wouldn’t hold out much hope for this new guy either. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted December 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 21, 2025 Nobody watches SmackDown anymore, do they? So…. Oh, you didn’t know they beat champions in a non title match? Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted December 22, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 22, 2025 (edited) Christmas Time. Mistletoe and wine. Cody Rhodes having a totally normal time. It’s the clearest example yet of how we live in the post-kayfabe world. Within the actual fiction of the show itself, I can’t even remember why Cody is so mad. I think the height of Drew’s crimes was a couple of cheeky post-match attacks and a bad dye job. Nothing to warrant Cody going full Pillman’s-got-a-gun. And yet I just accept it because the man playing the character is shoot the most ridiculous man who’s ever lived. He probably thinks this is relatively understated. TheScarlettChad Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 I still remember him leaping off the top rope with a contract when he was feuding with Cena. Insane bloke. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted December 22, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 22, 2025 Everyone involved in the production of that segment should be fired...into the fucking sun. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted December 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 23, 2025 ….. Why is this feud still happening? There is zero suspension of disbelief for McIntyre winning the title from Cody. Give him something else to do til Mania. Or just have him twiddle his thumbs and do nothing like they did with Gunther last year. Quote
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted December 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 23, 2025 My wife was in the room while I was watching that segment. They cut back to the commentators afterwards and Joe Tess referred to the 'footage' they had just showed and she laughed out loud. Quote

The stipulation for their blow off match, the announcement of which I assume they’ll air on next week’s show, made me smile. Spoiler Three Stages of Hell Match. Longest, most boring match for the longest, most boring feud. I bet the only reason they’re doing it with Cody and Drew is because fate stepped in before they could do it with Seth and Punk. No-one is a bigger fan of Triple H’s career than Hunter Hearst Helmsley himself. Quote
Kfogg1991 Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 The only positive to come from the three stages of hell match is it will be the first hell in a cell match as a stipulation for a match (not held in a cannon ppv in 15 years apparently) Hopefully it means there binning the ppv all together which is a good thing forcing a match to have that stipulation because it's the theme of the show not to elevate the feud is fantastic Quote

Paid Members Callum1993 Posted December 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 23, 2025 And correct me if I’m wrong but 3 Stages of Hell doesn’t necessarily mean one of the matches will be a Hell in a Cell? From memory none of the previous ones have featured the Cell. Quote

Paid Members air_raid Posted December 24, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 24, 2025 Would have been mandated by Palmer Cannon back in the day. Still think Palm Cannon and Canyon Semen should have tagged. Quote
