On the subject of smoke and mirrors, you’ve got to be gutted for Karrion Kross. Still sitting by the phone, waiting for Hunter to call back, only for Aleister and Zelina to completely rip off the spooky couple gimmick and entrance.

He's found the perfect support group in MLW. Good Brothers, Dijak, Baron Corbin, Riddle. Just needs Braun Strowman.

No objection to Chelsea winning as she is obviously brilliant but who did Giulia piss off?

I think Giulia needed to drop the belt to be honest. Her partnership with Kiana James isn’t really working, and much like on NXT, she’s not been particularly impressive. She has a tremendous look, but as it stands, she feels a little unfinished.

I agree but as quick as she did?

I'm thinking there is something more to this.

It makes sense to get the belt off her given Jade now has the main Women’s title as a dominant heel. Chelsea Green although a heel plays a very different role to Giulia. They probably should have left Giulia in NXT a little longer instead of calling her up at the same time as Vaquer who immediately overshadowed her.

Just awful news, smackdown going back to two hours elevated and made it better when it was three hours aswell as raw it dragged, made no sense being the B show/brand and exposed the lack of names able to carry the extra hour each week.

Didn’t they do this at the start of 2025 also? It may be that they’re going to do it on a cycle, half the year on half off. Or it could be that they’re reacting to that new ratings change thing by desperately trying to recoup any sort of numbers they can get.

Zack Ryder Vs L.A Knight

In 2025.

‘Is the mystery opponent Jericho?’

’is it Edge?’

Both under contract to another company so unreasonable expectations, but fuck me, going with the worst version of Matt Cardona is a choice and a half.

If you don’t have any interesting mystery entrants lined up, don’t have any.

I didn’t like this episode of Smackdown much. Nick Aldis has become very Don Callis-like to me, in that he’s all over the show without really adding anything to it.

Aldis is tremendous as a heel, and they’d benefit from having him actually wrestle. His expiry date as a GM has long passed, though.

I absolutely hate what they’re doing with Dragunov too. It absolutely looks like he’s ducking the challenge of Ciampa. Why wouldn’t he just plough through him as he has everyone else? He doesn’t need an underlying feud at this point, and fuck, maybe he’s the guy you have the ‘mystery opponents’ line up for rather than Cena. Having him face Ryder is fun, not underwhelming. Same would got for Jeff Hardy or anyone from NXT.

Having Michin feud with Jade Cargill for the World title is a very strange choice. That said, Cargill looks incredible. I’ve never been an advocate for pushing someone based on look alone, but it feels like she’s jumped out of the pages of a comic book, she has an aura about her that very few do. She feels like the biggest star in the company, and I don’t doubt that she actually could be if booked correctly.

Mate I'm not even ashamed to admit I wasn't expecting cardona for this one (it was pretty common knowledge he'd be appearing)

When that horrendous theme song hit the audible happiness was loud, when I heard his name mentioned as a suprise return I hated the idea, just because his run in the WWE was as lower/mid talent that didn't get looked at or offered chance too be much more.

His body of work on the independents has been staggering and he started to show what a huge star he could be not just one dimensional catchphrase worker he was previously and alot has come from his time with WWE and middle finger to the Man sort of thing.

But it was amazing seeing him using that awful music was cringe but commentary gave so much respect and in depth information about his career outside the WWE including talking about him doing deathmatches which got a Pop from me.

It was perfect because they didn't roll him out for the quick pop and content then bury him like we've seen in the past I'm more intrigued who else will get this opportunity if this is what they'll be treated and used like.

Drew being the last man on team vision just perfectly completes a random team with absolutely no reason or meaning literally because they have to have a war games match hasn't been so uninspiring than this.
