The smarmy cunt soaks up any scene he is in and turns it into smug gash. One of those guys who is probably a good lad and a great laugh to have a beer with, but on-screen he's a total dick wipe. I only barely scraped through Deadpool (mainly as he was under a mask the entire time) and his understated performance in the new Pokemon movie is not filling me with much hope. See, Ryan Reynolds was the reason why I actually watched Deadpool despite the fact that it's a cape film I knew I'd dislike immensely. I think he has fantastic comic timing and I find him really likeable and he's a pretty good action star too. The Hitman's Bodyguard is quality. Deadpool is still shit though, like almost all Marvel. Ubiquitous enough to crop up in guest spots and cameos a lot and generally socialise and work with people much better than him. Consistently ruins things just by being part of them. He used to be considered a comedy god, Gervais, but Garry Shandling schooled him. It was absolutely brilliant, a proper comedian kicking the arse out of a pretender. I know, after Shandling's death, it was said he was trying to work Gervais, but was it fuck. Shandling hated him and rightly so.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted March 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 7, 2019 Going back to Astro's original post, I don't watch much TV these days but when I was a kid I used to have an irrational hatred of Reece Dinsdale. Might have been through being forced to sit through Home to Roost every week. I think he popped up in an episode of Inspector Morse or something like that and I weren't too happy. I was in Amsterdam when 'The Hitman's Bodyguard' was released. It was plastered all over the trams and buses, and I just assumed that the title was some dodgy English-Dutch translation. Never thought that was the actual title of the film, that's how shit it sounded. Boring anecdote aside, I can see why folk find him likable. As I said, he looks like he'd be a good laugh to be around, but his facials and voice and general demeanor on-screen are an instant turn-off for me. He's no Brendan Fraser, that's for sure. Sheffbag
Jesus, never realised the hate for Corden on here but how can you hate a guy who was in this The best movie to star a british tv star since Neil Morrisey in "I married a vampire motorcycle"
wordsfromlee
He was ok in The Wrong Mans but that’s as far as I’d praise anyone who binned off Sheridan Smith.
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted March 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 7, 2019 Rebel Wilson. I don't know why, but she just irritates me. She can act, her comedy timing is decent, but she just pisses me off.

I don't care what any if you say, he's the worst thing on Midmorning Matters, the worst thing in the later series of Peep Show and a terrible contestant on Taskmaster. He has been writing the tasks since series 2 of Taskmaster.

He’s a ‘task consultant’ which just means Alex Horne asks him what he thinks of them while they’re at the pub.

I'm someone who's easily annoyed but never offended but even I drew the line at Derek. How anyone thought that was coming across as anything but Gervais rips people with mental disabilities is beyond me.
