WyattSheepMask
Much like with ‘what’s the right colour for tea?’ and as it’s National Toast Day (apparently), where on the toast scale are you? 4 or 7 and I’d be happy
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 26, 2019 Moderators Share Posted February 26, 2019 (edited) 3,6,8 and 9 are all fine. I could stomach a 5 or a 7. I'm not particularly fussy, but the rest are burnt. I have a bigger problem with the numbering and the way the grid is laid out tbh. The numbering is in a standard sequence, but the grid is read diagonally. Edited February 26, 2019 by Chest Rockwell

Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 6, 3 , 8 and finally 2. Anything else is unacceptable
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 (edited) I'd eat any of them. 9 is the worst. 1 would need a bit of Jam on it. "Perfect" is 3. Edited February 26, 2019 by tiger_rick
Paid Members Silky Kisser Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 Brown bread > White bread Anyhoo...3,5 & 8 are acceptable.
gmoney
Would eat all of them, but 1 or 9 not ideal.

Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 6 is best! One of my brothers didn't bother toasting bread, he microwaved it and called it toast. He's always been a wrong 'un.

Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 3 is perfect but I would eat anything but 1, which is burned beyond been bothered with.
Paid Members air_raid Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 My best toast is four pieces made into two sandwiches packed with bacon, sausages and brown sauce. Black pudding if available. Anything else is a waste of bread.
King Mal the Glorious
3 is best. 1 is a bit too burned (need a load of jam to save it) and 9 is just a slice of bread.
