It pisses over butter massively. The Lidl stuff I buy has a slight Coconut taste, but it's not over powering. Winner.   Banana on toast is a beauty. Loki
2 is spot on for me. People hating on white bread, and I agree shop-bought white is pretty awful, but being the middle-class wanker that I am I have a bread machine and make spelt bread twice a week.  2/3 white or wholemeal spelt flour, the rest strong white bread flour.  Best loaf I've ever eaten, I tend to throw in some oats, and linseed or something similar. Making your own bread is a piece of piss, seriously.  You never even have to clean the bread maker, just dust it out occasionally.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 26, 2019 Moderators Share Posted February 26, 2019 I just don't eat enough for it to be worthwhile. I think I have like between 2-4 slices of bread a week.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 26, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 26, 2019 I'd get something like that because the kids eat a lot of bread but I can't be arsed slicing it. It's an absolute pain in the arse.
Brewster McCloud
Yes, that slight motion of the arm is an intolerable chore, especially when you have so many films to watch and describe as "fun" on here.

Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted February 27, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted February 27, 2019 Number 9 has some nerve calling itself toast. Even 6 is having a laugh. Anyway, it’s 4 and 5 for me.

He's always been a wrong 'un. Reminds me of when my mam used to freeze bread and I'd take a bite of half-thawed Hovis. That taste still makes me wince now. Bread shouldn't be allowed near a freezer unless you live 100 miles from the nearest shop.
Brewster McCloud
Sting said that, as an Englishman in New York, he likes his toast done on one side. I've never known anyone to do this bizarre practice, English or not. It is a thing? I can't hear it anyone's accent when they talk.
