Keith Houchen
Didn’t they say they’d be siding with May on future votes?  Yeah great way to shake up the status quo there.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 24, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted April 24, 2019 At least with the Tories you know where the cunts stand and what you're going to get with them. Beyond being pro-remain, CUK have no idea what they are or why they need to exist.
The King Of Swing
Bets on which one tries to crawl back to the Labour/Conservative Party first? My money's on Chukka.
d-d-d-dAz
Politics aside, the basic branding/marketing of the ‘Whatever The Fuck They’re Called’ party has been atrocious. Seriously. Probably all-time bad level promotion across any sphere. Fucking terrible.

They're mentals on the right, but at least they've an ethos one way or another and are easy to deal with. Centrists are like salesmen. They want what's worst for everypone but wrap it up in nice hair dos, good suits, slick media work and unoffensive to the layman patter. You only have to look at the LD's last leader, a big old homophobe, and now the Change group, who are having a racial incident every day pretty much but are getting away with it. Including on their VERY FIRST DAY. Mainly as several journos have joined, some running for MEP. Like Gavin Arsehole Esler (Who upon being asked what brings the CUKS together, he said "Values". Which means NOTHING). They actually said the other day they don't have a manifesto but will bring it out DURING the MEP elections. Which exposes it for what it is. A Middle Class London Centric Chatting Class Bollock. It's shit for people who put #FBPE in their Twitter handles, accuse everyone of not getting it, while being B or C class, in households of 100k a year plus earning, think Mike Gapes and Chuka Umunna are for the people, but everyone else is wrong.  And don't get me started on That Chuka prick. Heidi Allen is their leader but the CUKS still refer to him as future in press. And Rachel Johnson is involved? It's The Independent Group? Or Change UK? It's the personification of the fabled "Elites" running a party for themselves. And the Independent (fair enough) and the Grauniad (Toynbee is still there somehow) will push these fuckers to the hilt before the European elections. Which makes it worse. The "Liberals" who consider themself progressive and are nowhere near have a hard on for them, and so don't report on things like the shocker they've had with racism, or mock the Nando's bollocks, or don't talk about how Mike GAPES is a massive warmongerer. It's just the worst possible party ever. I actually think the tories are driven less by self interest. At least tories, as cunts as they are, want something they believe in, dusgusting as it is. CUKS just want inches in press, and a good job lobbying for a conglomerate to go to, like a football team of Louise Mensch's. Just look at how they were a private company for so long after forming. I think it's pretty much only Berger (Who is sound to be fair), that gives half a toss about constituent politics. They're the worst side of Blair, and his good side wasn't great. Fully awaiting Dan Cunt Hodges and Toby Failed Abortion Young to come out in their favour.
Paid Members JNLister Posted April 30, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 30, 2019 I semi-seriously think I've figured out the baffling four horizontal lines in the logo. Their original logo was rejected by the Electoral Commission because: Quote The emblem contained a hashtag, and we cannot assess the material linked to a hashtag, which will change over time, against the legal tests. What do you get when you deconstruct a hash symbol? Four short lines.

Think about it for a second, they have actually walked away from solid political careers to stand up for something they believe strongly in. But the siding with May in a confidence vote? Couldn't agree more. May will never allow a referendum, she's too stubborn to adapt her stance on her bloody red lines but Change UK are plainly scared of facing the electorate in the resulting General Election in the event of any successful no-confidence motion. Or maybe they took an educated gamble and decided to walk away from a solid political career in an attempt to become more prominent members of their own party? Is it better to be Neymar at Barcelona where you're a solid, dependable member of the squad who's recognised as a talent but will ultimately always play second fiddle to the main player or players? Or should you chance your arm by walking away from that solid position and try to become the main attraction and the face of a lesser force? Umunna not only chucked his hat into the Labour leadership ring only to climb in and sheepishly retrieve it a mere three days later, he also went on to declare public backing for the losing horse in the race he was too afraid to run. Talk about a double whammy. The big question is, will he eventually be vindicated in his move, and lift the Champions League trophy as a focal point of his new team? Or will it all go hilariously tits up with him chucking a piss-poor punch at some poor sod who asked for a photo then mocked him? Time will tell. It was originally this: , which is awful too. But the Electoral Commission said no to it on the basis that they can't control what a hashtag is associated with and the name TIG wouldn't be clear to voters. And so their candidates won't have a logo on ballot papers. The two-patty hamburger is their rather insipid follow-up.
