Meanwhile, four of the six MPs who left Change UK have now formed "The Independents" which is a parliamentary group but not a party. Subject to him passing their background checks, they are adding John Woodcock who was chucked out of Labour and hope to recruit Nick Boles (quit the Conservatives) and Iain Austin (quit Labour the same week as Umuna & co but didn't join their group because he doesn't want another referendum.) I wasn't aware of any dissension in their ranks, plus I would've thought all of those independent groups are not particularly far from the Lib Dems' official position anyway.
