Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted May 22, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted May 22, 2020 It's the fact it's the other teams in the league ripping on them for getting the photo wrong that's best. Gotta love it.
BrodyGraham
Was watching a video earlier that touched on how the rest of the world doesn't take MLS seriously. I'm sure shit like this helps immensely.

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted May 27, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted May 27, 2020 Was writing a piece on Daniel Storey's Gazza In Italy book. Had a look at the top scorers in England and Italy in 1992/93: Premier League - Sheringham, Ferdinand, Holdsworth, Quinn, Shearer, White, Armstrong, Cantona, Deane, Hughes, Le Tissier, Robins and Wright. Serie A - Giuseppe Signori, Roberto Baggio, Abel Balbo, Ruben Sosa, Gabriel Batistuta, Daniel Fonseca, Roberto Mancini, Maurizio Ganz, Jean-Pierre Papin, Florin Raducioiu, Marco Van Basten and Gianfranco Zola. Different world. Italy still had the foreigner rule too. That helped spread the quality but imagine how many more star names would have been there without it. That's not bad considering English football began in 1992.
