THE BOYHOOD DREAM HAS COME TRUE! 

As much as the international breaks can feel like a pain in the arse and constantly disrupting the season, the Nations League has been a great creation. Far better than meaningless friendlies and really good for the smaller nations who now have something to play for and can be competitive among each other. One of the scorers tonight plays for my local team over here, Torres. That was pretty cool to see.

The English Press and fan ‘banter pages’ seem to have an obsessive like hatred of the ‘international break’ but are the first to jump on the bandwagon when its tournament time.

It gets on my fucking nerves.

I have no idea how they expect to hold international tournaments without regular fixtures over the course of the season. 

International football is for life, not just every other summer.

Play all the qualifiers in one block in the summer. No more need for international breaks. Shorter seasons.

I reckon they should just have a tombola to decide who enters.

Modern football is such an utter cesspool that when you're reminded of the more romantic elements of it, it does tend to hit hard.

I got a lot more emotional at the news and footage of Neymar returning to Santos than I should've done.

As someone who's career path would've been West Middlesex Colts - Junior Bees - Brentford - Spurs - Brentford (but in my version I return to promote them from the Championship finally) I massively approve.
