Minor PPVs that don't deserve a thread *Spoilers*

I laughed more at Strowman's "I'M STILL NOT DONE WITH YOU!" than at anything the Jersey Shore mogwai Enzo has said all year.

Payback was an enjoyable show. As with Mania, the first half of the card in particular was really good with Jericho/Owens, Aries/Neville, the Tag Title match and Womens Title match.

The House of Horrors turned out to be a complete waste of time really but glad that feud is over now. Rollins/Joe was solid without ever really coming to life, it was a lesser version of the HHH match with it all being focused on Seth's knee. Loved the way the main event was booked though and Strowman is by far the best thing about RAW right now. Very much looking forward to him v Lesnar.

Assume most of the feuds bar the interbrand ones is gonna continue with gimmick matches at Extreme Rules then, with Miz/Ambrose and Balor/Wyatt taking their place.

I had no real motivation to watch this show when I woke up this morning but I'm bloody glad I did. The first four matches plus the main event were all top quality wrestling matches. I didn't bother watching the Bray/Orton stuff after their horrendous outing at 'Mania and from the sound of it, I did my self a favor. So yeah, apart from that tripe Payback more than surpassed my expectations.

Best bit of the show was the replay of Joe's senton to Seth's knee cutting off just as Rollins got to the 3rd syllable of mouthing "motherfucker" into the camera in super slow motion.

Wonderful comic timing.

House of Horrors was hilariously shit. It was similar to when they tried to rip off the Final Deletion, as in they watched it through once, and decided to replicate it, but completely change all of the things that made the Final Deletion such a success. It's one of the reasons I can't be arsed with them trying to recreate Matt Hardy's broken transformation, because they're going to massively butcher it.

The rest of the PPV was a rewarding way to spend a Sunday night. Strowman is a made man now. His inevitable battle with Lesnar could far eclipse the matches he's had with the likes of Rollins/Ambrose if they choose to abandon the suplex nonsense and give them fifteen minutes to clobber the piss out of each other. A longer version of Brock/Goldberg at Wrestlemania would make me a happy bloke.

I'm curious where they're going with Joe. They did enough to protect him from looking weak in defeat last night, but I'm not sure which direction they're going with him next. The title picture is occupied at the moment, and the whole gimmick they teased with himself, Owens and HHH seems dead in the water. I'd like to see a feud with Ambrose. Seems like a programme they could both stick their teeth into and not half-arse.

Bayley and Alexa had a nice surprise of a match. They both fall into the category of being nothing more than average in terms of wrestling ability unless paired with a really good worker, but they worked well together to have a good match. I'd presume the Summerslam match is Bliss/Bayley/Sasha, but again, I'm interested in the direction they go to get there. A slow burn turn from Sasha would be nice, but this is WWE, and they don't really do long-term booking these days.

Jericho winning the belt was a nice surprise, and another excellent addition to Smackdown, even if it's only going to be a short-term basis. Aries and Neville's match wasn't as good as their Wrestlemania showing, plus this one had the inclusion of a shit finish. Heel Sheamus/Cesaro might be cool.

Joe/Rollins was my favourite match on the show, I seem to be in the minority on that but I really got into it, liked it more than any Rollins match for a long while. 

House of Horrors was an atrocity, and not even in a funny way.

I love that the marketing for Backlash looks to be focused on Nakamura. Sign of confidence you'd hope.

Damn. I must have gone mental. I guess for some reason I thought it was like the champion/championship had been moved to Smackdown and whoever came out of that already scheduled rematch would be the guy who moved permanently to SD. I guess not. In which case, bloody hell, I can't believe how shallow Raw looks now.

I wouldn't go that far but I understand your point on him being over-rated. When at Wrestle Kingdom or during G1 he would be fantastic but you could tell he often phoned it in during a lot of matches, even IC title ones.

I enjoyed Payback, some good matches, and the House of Horrors was suitably awful. High point for me was Orton putting on his acting face with his 'what the hell...?' at the start.
