Paid Members FLips Posted July 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted July 24, 2016 A Syrian refugee has hacked a pregnant woman to death and injured 2 more with a machete in Germany. Another awful attack in what seems to be becoming a long endless string of them.

Paid Members FLips Posted July 25, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted July 25, 2016 Not really. Happening during the comedown of the Brexit and the middle of Trump's campaign too. Really scary times. Happening in small towns and cities too.

Paid Members FLips Posted September 13, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 13, 2016 The greedy bastards running The Great British Bake Off turned BBC down with a £15m offer; over double what they currently get, and then sold it to Channel 4. Not many people were happy about this as this now means the show will be littered with ad breaks and thus shortened down. Then today Mel and Sue quit in a super classy move, choosing not to go where the money is.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37355065  Rumour has it Mary Berry is off too, so Channel 4 have essentially bought nothing. Paid Members PunkStep Posted September 13, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 13, 2016 I don't see how it's greedy. A show they produced has grown so big and has been such a massive success for BBC, surely they should reap the benefits while they can? Â However, they're completely fucked without the presenters and judges, so that extra bit of dough will be short-lived as it won't last long.
