gbacon85
Â Â Maybe I can recover some #EatClean credentials and say I really loved, and thus really miss, Walker's Cheeseburger flavour crisps. Dodgy as hell, but delicious.True but they pale in comparison to the cheeseburger flavoured American Football crisps that used to be used in the community centre!!!Quarterbacks? YES!!!! Moderators PowerButchi Posted June 20, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2015 Quarterbacks are great! They still sell them in my (of all places) local chemist.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 20, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 20, 2015 They still sell Quarterbacks at some shops near me, but I think I must have misread the packets, because the only flavour I thought I saw was Beef; never seen Cheeseburger ones - would've snapped those up straight away. WyattSheepMask
They still sell them in most petrol stations and corner shops round where I live
Paid Members stumobir Posted June 20, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) The old quarterbacks in the silver packets were on a different level but the only ones I've tried recently were Golden Wonder (I think) made, they didn't even come close. Had my first bag of transform-a-snacks for years the other night, spicy of course, apart from the price they things haven't changed in forever. Always prefer 10p type crisps to your generic Walkers/Golden Wonder stuff. Edited June 20, 2015 by stumobir
gbacon85
Didn't Quarterbacks come in hot dog flavour as well? Â Love Transformasnacks but have never met anyone that actually put them together! Still buy Space Raiders (pickled onion obviously) quite regularly for the kids
Paid Members Tommy! Posted June 20, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) I used to have a bag of bbq beef transform a snack every Friday lunch when I worked in Birmingham. Â It was the lunch treat. That, a discounted out of date beef pasty and a can of ginger beer or Dr pepper, dependant on what was on offer. Â Everyone else was in eat selling a kidney for a pot of soup. Â Of couse after lunch it would be straight to the pub for a pint and a double scotch at one time. We won't see the like of those days again. Edited June 20, 2015 by Tommy!
Moderators neil Posted June 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 21, 2015 I always thought Pot Mash's were better than Pot Noodles myself.
hallicks
I posted the following picture to instagram with the hashtag #eatclean: Â Â Within 60 seconds, someone I've never heard of, adam_personal_trainer liked it. Not to be outdone, coluccio_fitness did likewise. #cleanas Edited June 21, 2015 by hallicks
sammorgz
A 'Quicksters' cheeseburger for breakfast is the way to go I've just discovered.
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted June 27, 2015 Awards Moderator Share Posted June 27, 2015 I noted I was explicitly banned from this thread in the opening post. However I found a repository of #EATCLEAN recipes in the middle aged mancave that is the Afterword I just had to share. Moderators PowerButchi Posted June 27, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted June 27, 2015 (edited) I'm sceptical  of the amount of cooking used in most of those recipes. Using pans and the like. Microwave and/or toaster are the only tools. Edited June 27, 2015 by PowerButchi
Mr_Danger
Banana, toffee sauce and bread (both sides buttered) on the foreman grill. A fine meal.
