Fucking GET IN.

What a speedy response!

Anyway as I said, amazed it's still going. The one in Kingston was all you can eat for 4 quid I think.

My Dad accidentally walked into the kitchen looking for the toilet and told me and my sister we were immediately leaving as he didn't like what he saw in there, but never had any issues whatsoever.

Hate those buffet places. Most of the dishes are just padded out with a ton of onions, barely any meat in them. And not particularly tasty either. Sure, they're cheap, but you expect some flavour.

He makes a point of replying to every comment. Puts aside hours to do it. (PS he makes an unannounced appearance in this video)

A combination of having lots to do today at work, bout of bad depression and a 15 quid off voucher means I've just had a Burger King (felt shit getting a delivery driver out in this heat, so yes I did tip him a tiny bit more) I also knew it'd arrive quickly as there is no one about at the moment.

I had a Bacon Double Cheese XL (10/10) and a Bacon Ceasar Crispy Chicken (8/10) and is a vast improvement on the last shitshow I had from there. I'm always wiling to give things another go, and I'm glad I gave the King another shot. IMO always behind the Clown, but he surprised me today.

The fries are absolutely dreadful still though. The worst out there by a mile.

BK burgers when cooked well are better than Maccy's, but there is a much greater variation in quality. At Maccy's you know it will always be the same. That's my experience of it anyway.

KFC fries are the dirt worst, I wouldn't feed them to someone I disliked. Even that chickeny flavouring they've added does not save them. Lukewarm depressing slivers of gangrenous puss is what they are.

I'm not sure if this is a win or a fail. Although feels more like the latter.

Uber Eats were doing one of their begging please remember us emails with 50% off for certain places. I thought it's Friday and I can't be arsed so let's get some takeaway. Taco Bell was the first choice and I thought fuck it, I quite fancy a crunch wrap supreme.

They then completely botch the order to the level where either zero fucks were given (possible) or they accidentally just put my receipt on someone else's order. So instead of getting a crunch wrap supreme, fries with nacho sauce, crispy chicken taco and a drink. I got two beef burritos and two grilled chicken tacos.

I immediately put in a complaint and they have refunded the whole thing. So its just cost me the couple of quid service charge and the drivers tip.

But it was also Taco Bell and I'm reminded again why I never normally get Taco Bell because is pretty rubbish for the most part. Also I'm now seriously regretting not just getting a KFC Zinger burger and some wings.

So I'm now sat here not particularly full and considering either getting a chippy tea or doing a KFC order for the football later.

You've had a Taco Bell at 4, and are gonna get another takeaway for 8. That's a win in my book. No fails present.

Ha, during my heavy stoner days I discovered a fun game to play with Deliveroo and Uber eats. There was one McDonalds in range of my address that was the WORST. Literally 0 times did they get the order completely correct, and about 7/10 times you’d get someone else’s instead. At the time it was also the only 24 hour one, and late at night the chances of getting someone else’s order were even higher. Also late at night everyone else’s orders are mental because they’re ordering late night Maccies and not making good life choices.

So when it got late, you could choose to order from a dependable branch before closing OR wait a bit longer, put in a very cheap order at the other one and get a MYSTERY BAG. The mystery bag would be free as you’d always get a refund for the balls up, but obviously you don’t get to choose what’s in there. Best result was a friend ordering a couple of chicken mayos and a drink and instead getting a 20 nugget sharing box, a mozzarella sticks sharing box and a massive array of dips including all the paid ones that come with chicken selects. Someone, presumably a fellow stoner, had big plans for the evening and we got it all for free.

I think I've said before but my old work once introduced some employee benefits thing where you could get £50 in vouchers and one of them was Just Eat. So for a while I was having McDonald's breakfast and dinner in the same day at least once a week, and I wasn't even paying for it, and sometimes requesting a refund ?

Dangerous.

Edit: forgot to add, this was £50 every month.
