Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 20, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2017 I'm just amazed there's Taco Bell in the UK. Hark at fucking Soapdish, sorry, John Spartan over there. Fuck you and your franchise wars.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted September 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2017 A few years ago there was a program on that showed some tramps getting sandwiches out of the bins at the back of a supermarket, taking them Home and sticking them in a breville. Â Tesco just had a load of butties on display for 8p each. Â Cheese and tomato, corned beef, cheese and onion etc. Â Grabbed some, and they are cooking away now to form a toastie buffet. Â Thank you tramps for the stunning idea.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted September 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2017 You should have lined them all up on a shelf in your house and recreated that great picture from yesterday.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted September 20, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2017 They had some pies for 8p too, so I could have done.

Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 21, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2017 I remember going to a Taco Bell in Baker Street years ago in the 80s, when a family friend took me and my sisters to see the London Planetarium (also now in the past). I quite liked it, so I was surprised they closed up in the UK.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted September 21, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 21, 2017 I saw a taco bell when I was in Sheffield recently.
Paid Members gmoney Posted September 21, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2017 There's one in Southampton too. I'm sure they did their research before opening up branches, but they do seem to have popped up in some odd places.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted September 21, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2017 The one at the Arndale at Manchester is one of the few places who allow people with learning difficulties to work on the counter. Â Hoping some other companies follow suit, as they normally get hidden in the back.

We had Taco Bell, Wendy's, Quiznos, Sbarro, all gone by 2000. Taco Bell relaunched I think in 2010 or
Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 21, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2017 Quiznos was still around by 2000 - I was in my first year at university, and there was one in that mini shopping arcade on Oxford Street, and one in the shopping mall near where I live, in Wood Green. I always like Quiznos, could never understand why they weren't more popular.
