Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 27, 2024 Paid Members Posted September 27, 2024 We had a blinding grilled cheese sandwich place near us that did the best tots — fried perfect, topped with cheese sauce and crispy fried onions. Went to a chicken chain called Raising Canes last weekend — highly recommend. Best chicken tenders I've ever had, and I've never had texas toast that was even close. Coleslaw was a cut above, fries were delicious despite being crinkle cut. The only slight disappointment was the special sauce, which it a big selling point but to me tasted like mayo with a bit of ketchup in it. Quote

Paid Members Gus Mears Posted September 29, 2024 Paid Members Posted September 29, 2024 @Sergio Mendacious I echo all your thoughts on Canes. In Gus's heaven, you get Cane's tenders with all the sauces at Slim Chicken. I find the love for the Cane's sauce baffling. Quote

Paid Members gmoney Posted October 14, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 14, 2024 These are bloody lovely. I'm not normally a fan of marshmallow, but these are covered in a very thin chocolate costing which makes all the difference. They taste like choc ices, but not frozen obviously. From the World Food section in Morrisons, but I bet you could get them in your local Polski Sklep. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted October 20, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 20, 2024 Gave my wife a smiley pie tonight. No that’s not a sex thing, it’s a cottage pie but with smiley faces instead of mash. She’s one lucky lady. Quote
