I think some takeaways just don't travel well. I've had a shite experience with getting a KFC delivered too but never had any complaints when I eat in. Chippy food doesn't travel well either, and pasta. McDonald's is invariably soggy and shit. But pizzas, Chinese and Indian, they all seem hardier when being delivered.

All good and fair points, but I stand by what I said. Its shit and I'll never eat it again* I just had utter self loathing straight away after eating it, and it sent me into a right old funk.

Chinese and Indian options come from the village, less than a 5 minute drive, so always piping hot. Everything else is around 15 minutes away.

*I'd obviously eat it again tonight ffs.

The KFC near me is shite. They always get the order wrong, miss something out or are just incredibly slow. The upside is pretty much every time I order from them I  end up doing the feedback form and getting a £20 voucher. It’s like a never ending circle of shit but free food.

Had a Wendy’s yesterday. Best fries by a country mile, second best burger but I got a plain jane Single Dave burger so with added cheese or bacon or whatever next time it could be first.

Fair prices too. Got a large fries which was more than enough to share, and a burger each for less than a tenner.

Get a frosty and dip your chips in it. I don’t care how that sounds, it absolutely works.

Had Wendy's for the first time a few weeks ago. Apart from being mystified why a burger would be called "Dave's", I quite liked what I got - that French Onion Triple Burger is lush.

I'm sure you're lovely Scorch, but I have always maintained people who dip chips in their drinks belong on some sort of register. Absolute deviant behaviour.

Then I’m fine. A frosty is not a drink!

I've just googled it, and somehow that's far, far worse.

I used to get The Seashell delivered when Uber had an offer on and it always arrived hot and crisp.  Agree about Macy’s, needs eating immediately or don’t bother.

I think it’s proper fast food. I’ve never had any fast food delivered that’s been near the quality of when you get in there, but every other kind of takeaway seems fine.

Had a McDonald's at the weekend, the new BBQ ranch beef burger thingy. Disappointing overall but I have to say ever since the drive by the utterly woke lefties to lower calories and salt, McDonald's being of good quality is a fast fading memory. Everything from the Big Mac to the fries is bland and flavourless.
