Chocolate covered Pork pie, does that count as #EATCLEAN or is it not allowed because I used a Dickinson & Morris Porker? Either way it tastes amazing and I feel shall become my new Christmas morning breakfast tradition

Has anyone attempted chocolate covered pickled onions?I feel it'd be achievable.

Nope, I've done a chocolate covered margarita pizza, but chocolate pickled anything sounds utter madness. Let us know how it goes though.

My question is why would you need to coat a pork pie in chocolate.  Eat clean needs a reason, or it’s not eat clean.

A chocolate covered Margarita pizza? Chocolate over cheese and tomato? How did that come about? What was it like? I've had chocolate cinnamon pizzas before. But that's just a dessert pizza. Chocolate and Cinnamon on a sweet pizza base.

Chocolate covered pork pie! Wow!

I can't see how it can be done. Pickled onions are constantly moist (unless they've been sitting out for too long next to the egg vaulavents), so I can't see how you'd get chocolate to coat them.

Smothering stuff in chocolate is pure gimmick and not actual #EATCLEAN . If you were planning on serving the pickled onions in with a Mr Brain's faggots and gravy and then grating half a block of cheddar on top, it would be far more impressive.

Precisely. There's no reason for it except to say "Hey, I ate a chocolate covered pickled onion!"

Not necessarily, some of us were just fat sweaty foul teenagers who wanted to eat all of the calories in the cupboard at once. It wasn't attention seeking at the time, I wouldn't have dared tell people at school about it.

Its akin to the pure ming that is crunch your crisps up in to a pulp, spitting them on to a big crisp, putting another big crisp on top, making a crisp sandwich out of 100% crisps.

Another staple supper in our house was hot dog sausage sandwiches with mint sauce. Bloody lovely.

Now, you see, that's more like it. That's not just gimmick eating, that sounds like an interesting culinary invention.

It's like swapping the lamb for pork, and then swapping pork for pretend pork.

Honestly, it's really nice, especially in crap white bread.

I just come back from a 4 day trip to Orlando. I didn't get to eat my 2 favorite fast food places Wendy's or Popeye's as was staying at Universal, however had some ok Fried Chicken from Cleatus the slack jawed yokel's chicken shack and Steak Taco's from the Bumblebee Man food truck in Springfield (washed down with a Duff Dry from Moe's). I had a twisted tator during halloween horror nights (a spiralised deep fried potato covered in salt and vinegar seasoning that was so sharp it felt like my tongue was on fire). Infact, the only big disappointment was going to the CityWalk Whopper Bar which was just a tiny BK where they encouraged you to add toppings to a whopper. Very disappointing. I also managed buttermilk chicken in McDonalds and a Chocolate Hazelnut Pinkberry at the airport.

Oh, and while not actually food, Coronoritas are amazing. Got drunk on those in Bubba Gumps.

In other news, KFC have announced the Double Down on the 9th October here in the UK, and despite my previous reservations, I will be having one.
