Paid Members BomberPat Posted March 17, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted March 17, 2023 I assumed the Shamrock Shake was an American thing, of the "dye everything green for St. Patty's Day" variety. Absolutely abhorrent that it's in actual Ireland - have a word with yourselves, lads.
Cousin Jim Bob
Mikey Chen did a review of McDonalds in India. The lack of beef and far more veggie options as mentioned makes the menu look far more interesting than here. Â Â

deathrey
The masala scrambled eggs is a regular breakfast in any non-vegetarian Northern Indian home. Obviously, the have Coca Cola in India and it's very very popular, Thumbs Up is just an Indian brand and is so sugary it makes Coke look bitter! Paid Members gmoney Posted March 17, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted March 17, 2023 Count me in as another who will have at least one trip to a McDonald's when abroad, to scout out the differences. I even insisted on doing it in Florence.
Paid Members Tommy! Posted March 17, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted March 17, 2023 What's the smallest or most obscure country with a McDonalds?

I love that in McDonald's in Italy, one of their sides is a tiny block of Parmagiano Reggiano. Of course it is.

This was in about 2017 though, so they might not have done it then, or I just completely missed it. I actually don't remember exactly what I had. I should go back.

Guest
I blame this thread for the dream I just had involving a day trip to India. No McDonald's but I did visit a library that benefitted from a full set of New Blood-era WCW videos.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted March 18, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted March 18, 2023 (edited) I remember when I was Basle back in 2008 it was Swiss theme month and I had the McGruyere pretty much every day, they also did Rosti Kreuze, which were like has brown potato crosses like off of the Swiss flag. They also had a PS2 in there with PES on it for kids to play on. Emmymade did this review of Japanese McDonald's. She's absolutely lovely and wholesome.  Edited March 18, 2023 by jazzygeofferz

And also, unless I'm being blind they don't sell soft drinks? Lots of detail here. deathrey
Hindu extremism is a real problem in India at the moment, if they served beef, it's likely that employees would be dragged out of the resteraunts and given a public beating unfortunately.
