westlondonmist
Melter reporting 4800 tickets sold for Royal Quest, 4500 of which sold in the pre sale. Once a couple of matches are announced they should sell a few more but as this is a Canon show I imagine no matches will be announced until July except maybe an Rpw title match after epic encounter

Nothing incredible or must-see, but the matches being spread across more days makes it easier to digest. Here's my top picks if you fancy a catch-up;      -New Japan Cup 8/3      Tomohiro Ishii vs. Yuji Nagata      -New Japan Cup 10/3      Zack SabreJr vs EVIL      Kota Ibushi vs Tetsuya Naito      Shota Unimo vs Hiroshi Tanahashi      -New Japan Cup 14/3      Will Ospreay vs Lance Archer      -New Japan Cup 16/3      Kota Ibushi vs Zack Sabre Jr
TildeGuy~!
Down to the last 8 then, ZSJ remaining undefeated in New Japan Cup competition will probably be the shock of the tournament after he beat Kota Ibushi in the last round. Yoshi Hashi Vs Tomohiro Ishii Kazuchika Okada Vs Will Ospreay Zack Sabre Jr Vs Hiroshi Tanahashi Colt Cabana Vs Sanada
TRSL
When did Colt Cabana start wrestling for NJPW, I assume its linked the ROH/NJPW connection. Good for him I say.
Vamp
Seems like we're getting Okada or Tanahashi vs White at MSG. Either are the guy you want headlining MSG if it's meant to feel like the big deal they seem to be pushing it as. Ibushi going out was kinda predictable as it sets up him up against Naito. I like Sanada but was pulling for Suzuki brutalising Cabana like all decent people.

Harvey Dent
In my bracket re-work I really thought we’d get Okada vs ZSJ in the final after Ibushi went out, so I’m surprised to see Tana march on. It’s gotta be Okada hasn’t it? With a show like MSG you want your top guy in the main event. Although who then walks out with the IWGP heavyweight title is another question; as much as Okada winning would be amazing I really can’t see a third title change in as many matches.

Can't find anything on the NJPW website to suggest it. Skipped out a few of the NJC matches (most things with Cabana or YOSHI-HASHI) and had a right slog through to get up to speed. Thought Okada and SANADA had their best match together so far, with a surprisingly great SANADA performance given how he can sometimes be lacking in babyface fire, and that extra gear needed to take the quality of a match into the "great" territory. MSG card looks really good. I'm sure Okada/White and Ibushi/Naito will go over excellently, with two title changes setting us up for the rest of the year. I don't think a short title reign is going to hurt Switchblade one bit, he's already been hugely established to the audience.

WyattSheepMask
How much of the G1 Supercard is being shown on NJPW World? Is it the whole thing? Or just the matches with NJPW talent?
