Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2015 JR is absolutely unbearable. It's a shame because he gets some decent names on his show.
Merzbow Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 The best thing about JRs podcast is when he makes a joke and the guest no sells it, you can hear his heart break.
Paid Members ElCece Posted November 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2015 I can only watch JRs podcast if the guest is someone that really catches my eye. He's so fucking irritating at times it makes it a chore to get through. I find him alot more annoying Jericho to be honest
Paid Members garynysmon Posted November 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2015 I've got a bit of a blind spot when it comes to J.R. I can't disagree with any of the comments above really, but as I admire his work so much, I generally listen to his podcast most weeks. Whereas because I only enjoyed Jericho's work in WCW really, he doesn't get a free pass and generally does my nut in.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2015 The best thing about JRs podcast is when he makes a joke and the guest no sells it, you can hear his heart break. That kind of happened on the Steve Corino podcast when JR busted out his 'egg sucking dog' impression, Corino at least humoured him with a fake laugh but it was awkward.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2015 It's bad enough when he does his impressions in his opens, but when he forces them onto his guests it just gets super embarrassing. Cringe level: Brent.
Sphinx Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Woman, you didn't run over any jackass! You ran over Ric Flair and I don't agree with that in the work place!
The British Bushwacker Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 The most annoying thing I'm finding more recently about the AE podcast is that they're offended by pretty much every angle or promo which is grating a bit
Paid Members DCW Posted November 15, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 15, 2015 Yeah it gets very repetitive, seems to just be out of laziness when they can't be bothered thinking of another way to discuss things. Jericho's latest podcast, with Dean Malenko and Chavo remembering Eddie is pretty good. Chavo sounds thick as fuck though.
Paid Members Callum1993 Posted November 18, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 18, 2015 Just got done listening to the Ross Report from this week with Cornette and Blanchard. 90% of it was him just doing impressions again(shit impressions mind you). I think he's going senile.
Keith Houchen Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Chris Jericho is the guest on Scroobius Pip's podcast this week. I'll give it a miss but I'm sure it's of interest to some.
Paid Members Accident Prone Posted November 18, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 18, 2015 The most annoying thing I'm finding more recently about the AE podcast is that they're offended by pretty much every angle or promo which is grating a bit 'Offended' is a strong word, it's more of a "Ug, that was creepy/awful/shite". I actually enjoy those aspects of the show. They clearly aren't wearing rose-tinted glasses and are seeing these crude aspects of the show in a modern light.
undercover elephant Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I found the new Japanese show from Strigger and Rob Reid via MLW a bit tedious. Just couldn't find a flow from the start compared to Writers Room shows on there for example. Comparing Japanese audio to say WH Park who I find fairly humourous akin to another wise crack in the form of a Greg Brady from FT So much good content on the podcast front from a range of hosts out at the moment.
Freebird Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Everyone should take the time to listen to Between The Sheets: http://placetobenation.com/category/podcasts/between-the-sheets/
WyattSheepMask Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Fantastic question on this weeks episode of New Generation Podcast: "Which would you rather fight- 1 Brock Lesnar sized El Torito, or 100 El Torito sized Brock Lesnar's? Discuss....
