One of the family dogs got put down today. She was 14 years old, approaching 15, and unfortunately got a gall bladder issue that at her age and with various other medical issues wasn't treatable. I don't think any of you will remember but back when I lived at home and first got her, you might remember me posting photos of a little blonde border terrier. My Brother let me know last night so I went over to say my goodbyes.

My Parents and Brother are all rightfully devastated but somewhat fortunately because I moved out over a decade ago it hasn't rocked me quite as hard. At least I think anyway, I've still been overly clingy with our dog all day and had a bit of a cry. I don't think I've quite accepted it yet, if anything.

We got a wooden porch house for little Perman, the tiny kitten that showed up in our garden a couple of months ago. We fed him up from a really minute thing to a decent size; I don't want him to be an indoor cat, but he probably will end up being one.
