Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted December 31, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 31, 2024 So this idiot is Socks. She is the sister of my two cats but for the past 10 years she has been our neighbours cat. They love Socks and she could not have been treated better. Last month Socks decided she does not live with them anymore, won't even go in their garden let alone their house. Won't even acknowledge their existence. She has decided she lives with us now and there is no changing her mind. Our neighbours are heartbroken but they know we will look after her. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted December 31, 2024 Members Posted December 31, 2024 Look at how unbelievably polite those feet are! Novas had her eye on a spider above the curtains for about 3 days now. She'll never get it, because quite frankly she's an idiot. Quote
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted January 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 27, 2025 Wee Perman moved inside a couple of weeks ago, and got a clean bill of health for anything nasty/infectious last Tuesday. Since then, he's been gradually moving out of the office where he was in quarantine, and is now eating the food the other cats eat, using the same litter (we had mixed it with soil to make him feel more at home). I feel like he falls asleep extra hard because now he has a chair to sleep on, and not the rock solid freezing ground, and he doesn't have to stay alert for predators. He's already getting demanding, insisting on multiple uppies and a hug when I'm trying to work. Quote

Paid Members DCW Posted January 29, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 29, 2025 Auld Cherry isn't too happy I took a piece of the salmon she completely ignored when I put it out for her! Quote
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted April 18, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 18, 2025 So, the worst thing about getting divorced and moving out the house has been separation from this top lad. But I'm pet sitting at the old place over the Easter weekend and am incredibly excited to be reunited. Quote
Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted April 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 19, 2025 Smudge turns 15 this year. She still looks quite young in the face, but she's slowed down incredibly over the last year or so. She's an absolute shit, but we've had her since we first got together and having no kids, she's been quite the little addition for us and as such, is treated like a Princess. She's the best cheeky chops and we tell her 58 times per day. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted April 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 19, 2025 (edited) So I've always been more of a cat person than a dog person. We've had various cats over the years and have very rarely been without one. We have 3 at the minute. My sister has always been the dog person of the family and in January she had to have her dog Bob put to sleep. He had an incurable problem that was just starting to cause him a lot of pain, but he was the happiest dog right up to the end. We were all heartbroken but it was the best thing for him to retain some dignity, which he more than deserved. So my sister was without a dog and she wanted another, and last week the new lad arrived. sorry about the wonky picture but the little bugger wont stay still. His name is Mike and he's a tiny little prick. His dad is a pedigree Jack Russell and his mum is a Jack Russell/Dachshund cross. Edited April 19, 2025 by Lion_of_the_Midlands Quote
wordsfromlee Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 Here's the birthday boy going absolutely hell for leather on a turkey neck. If he carries on like this then he'll be too full for his birthday scrambled egg tea! Quote
Paid Members Kamran Posted June 14, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 14, 2025 We've had a cat appear over the past month that seems to stay outside ours all day and night. We thought someone might have dumped her but after posting about her on Facebook...it turns out she belongs to someone down the road but they don't seem to fussed about her being out (I'm assuming she pops home now and then). We've been letting her sleep in the garage overnight as our cats get nervous around any others but we're working on that it. The owners were calling her Mickey but when they took her to the vets, they told them it wasn't a boy so they call her Mitzy now. Some of our cats: Quote
