Drugs because of depression due to $25 payoffs and being skint and having to borrow Ian Rotten's Pizza Oven? Depression due to blunt head trauma? Look at Mike Awesome, I refuse to believe that his style had nothing to do with his suicide.  Why do you refuse to believe it? Anything could have caused him to be so glum. Maybe he was frustrated that he wasn't more popular. Or maybe he'd run out of Bovril or something.  I wonder if anyone has ever committed suicide due to running out of meat extract. Hmm. The 2 years that I knew him, he was a far cry from his "Terminator" gimmick when we talked, one of the nicest guys I knew in wrestling. Yet, one of the nastiest, toughest motherfuckers inside the ring. Â He had his demons as I'm sure some will know, but I never thought it would come to this. R.I.P big man! Wrestling is about emotion not braying each other, and that's why I struggle to consider the deathmatch style to be pro wrestling. Â Indeed. It's just pornography really. It doesn't look safe, but it doesnt look like either would be that hurt either. If the tables were closer to the crowd, and the crowd were a bit further away from the ring, it wouldnt look much worse to what the big E were doing in the late 90s. It looks worse then it is because Ruckus is going in blind. Still fucking barmy though. I appreciate A LOT could go wrong, but like someone else said there were other crazy things in this match (Jack Evans anyone?). And this was at the peak of CZW's popularity IMO. Â Â Indeed. There are plenty of reviews here without pictures. It just makes sense that if you can show a picture of someone falling off a ladder through 20 tables when you describe it then you might as well. I wouldnt buy a magazine that reviewed a wrestling show and not want any pictures, regardless of the style. And this thread is pretty much for people who don't see much deathmatch wrestling and want to know the main bumps and spots, so its easier with a picture. 9 out of 10 people reading this just want to see what happens, and probably skim through the actual text, so Richie is just catering to his "audience".
